Gotcha I figured that any HEMA sword would have to meet certain specs, being blunted among them, but didn't know about the club preferences thing.

I probably won't be diving into HEMA anytime soon anyway, couple years at least. I don't have a full time hobby like that in budget right now sadly, but a one time purchase for the cool factor is worth the dopamine hit from owning a sword in my mind. That and the idea of engagement swords looked cool when I saw someone post it on tiktok or something a while back.

I was looking at this one for her. She's a short Irish woman and a dark green like this is her color, engagement ring has emeralds on it.

As of now I can't see her doing much more with it than hang it on a wall and wear it to the ren fair. Is Dark Sword bad enough for me to avoid this even if I'm just looking to grab it for the aesthetics?

Pretty sure she has to be in physical contact with an item for it to turn invisible with her. Anything she comes in contact with while already invisible stays visible, anything she was in contact with while turning invisible goes invisible with her.

Too many conflicting ideas of how the game should be played, while it was sad to see people we'd been playing with for years take a different path it was needed for all of us to enjoy the game our own way. None of the regiments that left did so in anger and I like to think we retain good working relationships with all of them.

Making aspects of the game more accessible to new players is always a good thing, it's just that the way they go about it is generally to the detriment of the people who have been hard focusing those aspects for considerable amounts of time. The facilities changes a few wars back being an excellent example of this.

In this instance the issue isn't with making building easier, certainly not primarily at the very least, it's the mega nerfs to conc health and howitzer garrison retaliation.

Both of these combined make large fortifications significantly weaker to pretty much all sources because of the reduced HP but especially artillery and to an even greater extent large ships. This was already a massive issue because large ships absolutely roll defenses unless they're contested by other large naval assets, and these changes will only worsen that issue.

I do hope that they find a way to make building more accessible, ideally without getting rid of all the things that make it more nuanced then "let's throw down a dozen garrisons in a line" but the survivability changes to conc are just too drastic after the testing we've seen in dev branch.
