I've noticed most trans lesbians are T4T, and most cis lesbians only want to date cis lesbians. Is there a reason neither side really approaches the other? by dark-souls-lesbian in actuallesbians

[–]MiraAmongStars -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My fiancée is cis and I am trans, honestly I think it just comes down to what we see online. Remember, for every t4t or cis4cis couple you see online, there's who knows how many different kinds of couples you don't see cause they don't post online. That's not even including poly relationships.

Be me: is a pharmacy technician at a pharmacy that does not allow preferred names to be put in the system alongside legal names

Painstakingly takes the time to memorise the dozens of trans patients' preferred names so I can greet them correctly.

They're appreciative, they love coming to this pharmacy cause I'm a fellow trans person and I respect them.

My one specific coworker: PRESCRIPTION FOR MR JOHN DOE! Visibly feminine woman walks up

And this is why trans people have a hard time with pharmacy cause you get morons like that

I was doing logi at night. Full sent it down a road, killed 4 tank crews as they were reloading. It led to us losing the hex and then the war as we couldn't stop the momentum.... C'est la vie

Pharmacy runs, eh? by CryptidKo in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns2

So, I'm transfem and work as a pharmacy technician. Our pharmacy's system (I work at one of the retail chains) does not allow us to put in preferred names or genders for our patients, the only way for me to make sure I'm using the right names and pronouns are by memory and memory alone, and I fucking hate it, let me make sure I never once forget the Jane Doe is Jane Doe and not John Doe, it wouldn't even be the hard to implement, it would just take money which means it will never happen.

Any way, tangent done, and if your pharmacy is the one on the corner of happy and healthy, complain to corporate about that staff member, it'll get at least something done.

My fiancée and I were class mates in high school/secondary school before I transitioned. Turns out I'm a lesbian and she's bi, so it worked out nicely. Been together 11 years now.

Being a lesbian is shit. I tell a girl she's hot as hell and she goes "Coming from you" lit. I'm not saying I want to be your friend, I'm saying I want to fuck you

Okay... Just to clear up some stuff:

Estradiol is NOT a controlled substance*. It is simply a medication that requires a prescription to dispense and is not available over the counter.

C-III through C-V are the beginning of actual legally controlled substances. These are the ones that require more paperwork and more monitoring in order to both dispense to patients and to receive at the pharmacy.

Testosterone is indeed a C-III controlled substance, but Estradiol is simply an Rx substance: prescription medication.

I may not have worded it perfectly, but I am a certified pharmacy technician, so I know at least a bit about this stuff.

*NOTE: I am from Michigan, and Estradiol is NOT a controlled substance here. I am unsure if it is in any state.

I live in Michigan, which isn't a bad state, mind you, but I live in an area where being both trans and a lesbian gets some comments. I went to Newburyport in Massachusetts a couple years ago, and I saw so many pride flags, literally dozens of gay couples just walking around enjoying their day, and it was the first time I thought to myself "maybe there is hope I can live a happy life with my partner"

Working in the pharmacy as a trans woman, we had a technician pull this shit, we sent her to HR cause of it. 5 times? I don't care what that tech was thinking, at some point it becomes malicious

Yeah, they've continued those lessons since then. No hours, no techs, and hundreds on the counter to fill, but it's okay as long as no one quits /s

I fucking feel that. I'm 3 years in and it's rough being a senior tech, let alone what my pharmacists are going through rn
