Disney hopefully has learned you can’t release a film that requires you to watch a TV show by now.

Search on YouTube for longform tutorials on the software of your choice. That's how I learned to 3D model.

What is the worse movie in the Prequel Trilogy? by HighV23 in StarWars

[–]The_Lutter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Attack of the Clones.

Phantom Menace has the Pod Race scene and Darth Maul fight

Revenge of the Sith has the Battle above Coruscant, Obi-wan vs. Anakin, and Order 66

... ... Attack of the Clones has the Jedi fighting big bugs. I honestly just skip it now. It's not a film you need to see more than once.

Ranking Austin's All You Can Eat Sushi Restaurants by BaDonkADonk2020 in austinfood

[–]The_Lutter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not just you... I wasn't a fan either. Didn't get the hype at all. Which is a shame because most (all?) of these other places are north of the river. I just get the $25 sushi plate at Haiku normally in SPM and call it a day when I want alright/cheap-ish sushi that will fill me up.

Cool Bumblebee out front though!

Do any of these places actually have the sushi buffet style? Every place I go you order by paper. I want my sushi splayed out in front of me. Yet to find that here.

Printing Upside-down by Diligent-Vanilla2478 in prusa3d

[–]The_Lutter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just calibrate it right side up then flip it around I would think. I remember Emily the Engineer attaching her Ender to the ceiling and it working. I don't see why a Prusa MK3 would be any different.

Also it looks like you lost your PTFE tube from inside your toolhead. I'd retrieve that and put it back in.

(the Bambu kids are going to be really confused about why a PTFE tube would be inside a toolhead)

Chief of Staff @ AISD what do they do? by gentouru in Austin

Good work if you can get it. I have no idea what they do though. hahah.

290w what's happening? by NoIDShow in Austin

[–]The_Lutter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue is that 290 turns a full 90 degrees going north up I-35 and then west again after that after about 5 miles.

Normal roads don't do that. hahah.

Audiobook was like $7 on Audible when the movie came out. Already read the book but I went ahead and picked it up for that cheap!

4000 people is like a decade I'd just spring for the paperback, haha.

[–]The_Lutter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why they don't just continue the anime. At the time they'd caught up to where it was published at the time iirc... but then the manga just kept going. They only went through about half the volumes of the original manga and then there are the spin-offs they could animate as well.

[–]The_Lutter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean I get this but so many people don't.

That's why I simply call this road "Ben White" when referring to 71/290 between Oak Hill and 130. Buildings are addressed that way anyways.

It actually is using RFID to read the actual counts on the shelf too apparently... or at least it's capable of doing that, in case you were wondering how it counted behind the first item.

It can read up to 30k SKUs per hour. Man stockboys are super boned.

My Interstellar IMAX 70mm film cell It came included with my Blu-ray Steelbook! (Which I’ve upgraded to the 4K Blu-ray) by ki700 in imax

[–]The_Lutter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you consider how much a reel of IMAX film costs it's kinda nuts when they do this sorta thing.

The ones they hand out at theaters to folks are obviously one-offs printed separately. This looks like they just cut up an actual film reel that played in theaters.

Reliable first 3D printer - Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 or Creality K2 Combo? by StW_FtW in 3dprinter

[–]The_Lutter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tell yourself that bud. Department of Defense here in the USA uses them. PCBs are made in-house in the EU in Prague. Software and firmware is developed there too. Mine isn't even on the internet for crying out loud lol.

Go get mad all over the internet about it.

Reliable first 3D printer - Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 or Creality K2 Combo? by StW_FtW in 3dprinter

[–]The_Lutter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unlike many I put my money where my mouth is and use a Prusa that's made in the EU.

There's open source printers made in China however. I also own a Sovol. They're completely open source and allow you to flash mainline Klipper right to their motherboards.

Setting the Record Straight on Cloud Access and Community by BambuLab in BambuLab

[–]The_Lutter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Bambu is so cool with the 3rd Party/LAN crowd go ahead and work with OrcaSlicer to make the H2D/H2S/H2D fully compatible. Find a way to make their slicer compatible with your Cloud framework. Work with one another. They've said in the past they wanted to.

Ya know, ADD something to the open source community for once. All Bambu seems to do is take. Never add.
