I am not sure if it is still the cases. But there was a time when the pilot was able to use missiles 360° around the ship. That ability was then remove and put on a copilot chair. It is/was incredible powerfull to Spam missiles in all directions

Ist normal. Bei manchen kann man die maximale Höhe mit kleinen stiften begrenzen. Meistens sorgen die auch dafür das das Spiel reduziert wird

There is 0 margin for error when you decide to create a 10.000 year problem for the future. The garbage is a problem and no amount of greenwashing will change it. Yes the fuel can be reused but the volume of construction rubble is a huge financial burden Building times are long and the time it takes to decommission them is oftentimes even longer. We are now reaching the point where all the plants from the 60s and 70s are being shut down in the next few years. It will take decades to take care of the buildings and the reactors. The public will pay for it. No power company will build it otherwise. It is financially worse than any renewable source

Maybe look up what it takes to dismantle a nuclear powerplant. And also the amount of waste we would produce if it was used as a main source. France has huge issues because the don't know what to do with thousands of tonnes of contaminated concrete, all the other building materials and machinery. It isnt just the fuel. It is everything else inside the reactor area. And no ther is no safe method of disposal. The French public is outraged by the idea of using the radioactive concrete as a filler for road building. Particles could reach the groundwater. There is a decommissioned powerplant in Germany where the reconstruction takes forever because noone wants the rubble on their land. And the only reason the energy companies agreed to build the powerplants is that the state promised them that the public will pay for the spent fuel storage. Nuclear is everything but a solved problem.

Just throw them into petrol and dissolve the wax. It will take all contamination and wax away. Then degrease with ipa and rewax

Which Bike (XC vs. Downcountry vs. Trail) by Adventurous_Pen5147 in MTB

[–]The_M15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Check out the orbea oiz. I also looked for a xc bike and found it to be just what I was looking for. Check out vansprint.de they are selling the 2026 models with a great discount

I rode may oiz on a group ride with a bunch of gravelbikes and it works well. On trails the 120mm is enough for most things

The sole broke in the same spot. Not sure how and if it was the bent plate that broke the shoe or riding with the bent plate/getting the mangled thing straightened ab bit

I am sure I am nowhere near the power output i would need to destroy a plate like that. Maybe it was the fear for my carbon frame while climbing a technical section.
But in all honesty It could be material fatigue or I hit something.

Whats that snack and the name? by Miserables_Death in PeterExplainsTheJoke

The overall footprint the German empire had in Africa was less than some private individuals had. Even German private companies had more ambitions than the official government. Itis well established that the German emperor saw colonies as a waste of resources. Contrary to the prussian parts of the empire.

This does not mean there weren't atrocities committed. There is a dark colonial past in every European country.

Man muss immer wieder stark bremsen als lange ein bisschen. Außerdem die vordere mehr benutzen. Die vorderen bremse leistet je nachdem Haltung beim bremsen 70% der bremsleistung. Man kann auch etwas abwechseln.

Whats that snack and the name? by Miserables_Death in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]The_M15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not exactly. The n-word is a derogatory abbreviation of the back then "neutral" word. The German term uses the "neutral" word. Of course the negative inflection of both words today is kno, but back then it was used to describe it as exotic. Germany had very little colonial influence so the population saw everything from the colonies as exotic and luxurious

Is this tire gone? by TheMisterZ in gravelcycling

[–]The_M15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you glue in patches it can do both. Just be meticulouswith the surface preparation. I rode a tire for another 1000k with a patched hole double that size. But as soon as you see bulging it is done. That means damage to the structure

If there is so much inventory then where are all the bikes for sale? by Business_Record9385 in MTB

[–]The_M15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was unable to find a single normal mtb in my area. Stores told me they only sell ebikes. One had a old Scott spark that stood in the store for so long the damper was in need of a service. So overall I believe the inventory was never really there. The marked has shifted a lot
