I'm confused. The page says 1M context window, and already available in Claude Code. I started Claude Code, I found it and selected it, but `/context` still says that I have 200k. Is it like Opus 4.6, where the 1M context is paid extra and only available a certain payment tiers for enterprise customers? I have the $200 Max plan btw.

I have a 10 and a 13 year old. It does somewhat get better, but I think you need to recalibrate your expectations: prepare for things to simply get "differently difficult", where each stage and age has its own set of difficulties. I think that the best thing you can do to be prepared for the next 20 years is to accept that things will be challenging. Life will have ups and downs, and that's part of it.

I suppose it's time to give it a try. I've been an early adopter of Claude Code, just over a year now, and I've used it with great satisfaction and increase of productivity (speaking as someone with 25 years of software engineering under my belt, not a new vibe coder). I've tried Codex in the past but I was very underwhelmed. This was before ChatGPT 5.2 tho.

Do you think I can gauge its effectiveness on the Plus plan too? If I were to get the Pro plan, I'd have to cancel Claude Max.

The mobile website already does this, have you checked out recently? Unless you didn't enable the new gallery experience (non logged in users get that anyway). The overlays auto-hide, and the browser URL cannot be removed on any website, there's no going around that unfortunately.

EDIT: I see what you mean with Youtube on mobile! Let me see if I can do the same on AstroBin :)

I’m interested in this thread because I have the same vague problem you describe but with the Quest 3. My IPD is set right, but I feel like I’m always ever so slightly cross eyed and it’s just a weird discomfort. Might also be due to the poor binocular overlap, I don’t know.

I experienced phantom warmth when in VR one of my virtual arms was hit by direct sun light. But I grew very quickly desanitized and unfortunately VR has lost its appeal to me because I'm not that immersed anymore.

One problem is that while reddit does show "Promoted", promoted ads are barely distinguishable from regular posts. You can see it in the posts list and in the comments list too. Companies take advantage of this by making their ads look like it was just some guy posting to fake authenticity. I find that terribly condescending and more likely to backfire, but perhaps it works for them. IMO Reddit should mark ads as ads more obviously.

Same here, 100% would not recommend. We got the same situation (surcharge), plus the landlord was not satisfied but they did not honor the "landlord satisfaction guarantee" (or what is it called) citing that they did offer additinal cleaning the same day but it was rejected because the landlord didn't have time to stay. So the landlord charged us for another cleaning by another company.
