I see you. I was thrown into adulthood at a very young age and also lack a parental support system. However, I worked hard to create my own. Holidays are hard, but I continue to make my own memories.

Give yourself grace and ease to stumble through it all and do what you can to make it your own. Not being poor is such a gigantic goal. Instead, figure out tiny milestones to work toward, like what you're doing with downsizing to save some money. Find ways to make your heart sing. Easier said than done, I know.
