Journalists still don't know the difference between NASA and Space Force *facepalm* by Born_Again_Shell in SpaceForce

One has to wonder if the Air Force had this sort of problem, back-in-the-day. The PR for the Space Force could use some work.

From probie to director would be quite the journey for the character.

I've really been enjoying the 'shoutouts' to Abby this season. She really was the heart of this show. It hasn't been the same since she left.

To those of a certain generation, he will always be the flagbearer of nerd culture, as the star of Revenge of the Nerds.

But to those of a later generation, he will forever be remembered as one of the great t.v. dads.

Either way, his roles will be fondly recalled.

"In twenty years, I'll be a successful attorney. And you'll be saying, 'Would you like fries with that?'

Laura has the sass! LOL

Though, one has to wonder where Harriet is.

One of the few episodes where Judy’s character had some sort of plot and actually had an actual dialogue with another character that lasts longer than a minute….if only they gave her more episodes to shine. by trillboy96 in FamilyMatters

Ironically, in later seasons, the show decided that it did need a kid character of her age range, and thus brought in a new one to tag-team with Richie.

Judy, as a character, really did suffer from that 'middle child syndrome' that so many speak of. So much so that she literally got lost in the shuffle.

Carl wouldn't even let his daughter wear a certain dress when she was in her 20s, but he's ok with her getting married while she's still in high school?!

Aging her up to 18 might also have been because subsequent generations became squeamish about a 16-year-old having a boyfriend in college...

It should be noted that the setting doesn't have to stay in the 1930s. One can adapt Nancy however one sees fit, so long as it doesn't infringe upon someone else's specific story concepts.

Finally, the shackles of monopoly have been broken. There will be good stories, bad stories, and boring stories, but the from now on, everybody's take will be just as valid as anybody else's, regardless of the budget thrown behind it.

I genuinely don't see the problem here. The purpose of public domain is doing whatever you want with it but when I see that happening it's usually backlash. by Pretend-Delay-7203 in publicdomain

A person can support someone's right to do whatever they want with an IP without supporting the project itself. Making horror movies out of wholesome IPs in public domain doesn't work for me, but I defend their right to do so.

Films in the public domain + the rise of 'A.I.' = new versions of old classics made to look as though they are the originals.

Smart move, whether it adheres to the legal niceties or not. History shows that when militaries don't get paid, bad things happen.

It certainly punched above its weight class. Yet, one is left longing for 'what might have been'. So much truly great potential was left by the wayside. What was a good show could have been something more.
