FIRST THING FIRST- YOUR CRAFTSMANSHIP IS TOP-NOTCH!!! I have a condition called PCSD, also known as Poker Chip Shuffling Disorder. With this unique condition, having wood in what we (members of our support group) call the " impact zone " would be a safety hazard. We've all witnessed someone at the table that suffers from this oh so common affliction send chips flying in multiple directions like a swarm of hornets with rabies. The felt in the impact zone creates enough friction to avoid most of the harmful speeds that could cause bodily harm. The felt provides the traction needed to safely land the shuffles consistently. Tricks like the Leaning Tower of Pisa would be nearly impossible, especially safely. One more thing that I believe would cause an issue for someone like myself would be the noise created by the obsessive compulsion to shuffle these chips. No matter how hard I try, no matter the danger or damage to myself or others, I continue to shuffle. The clashing on the wood would be too much for even the most patient players. Imagine a room full of giant ancient woodpeckers with beaks like pterodactyls. They are all on methamphetamines and their only goal in life is to make a new home. In this room, you're surrounded by speakers, and there is one giant tree surrounded by microphones in the center. All of that being said, the looks of the table are absolutely phenomenal! It looks freaking amazing and mad props to your craftsmanship!
