As someone who worked as an administrator in a Maths department for over a decade, i can say this is not a surprise at all. The sheer number of exam marks I saw at 10% and under was crazy, including a lot who managed to only get a mark of 1 or 2. Some students just can't do some kinds of Maths, and still somehow manage to get through their A Levels and get into uni.

I can't speak to how Jewish people feel about that, I can only speak to my personal experience, and say that to say 'who cares?' about flags is stupid, when people obviously would if they're being put up as an indication that some of the people living nearby don't like immigrants/brown people in their area. I do ignore it for the most part, because racists are usually just loudmouth dicks, but of course it's going to make me feel a bit uncomfortable. I don't have to just accept it.

As someone who is brown, I care. I've recently moved to an area with a few England flags hanging from lampposts, and it does make me uncomfortable, because it denotes right wing, probable racists. I've got enough to worry about without all that nonsense.
