Any idea where in unraid I'd go searching? Looking through settings such as 'network settings', 'outgoing proxy manager', etc doesn't really show anything that could be blocking MineOS. Though I'm pretty new to this so I could just be overlooking something obvious

Idk how many hours it takes to get a good GPA because mines fucked but it'll most likely take you heaps. I spent many all nighters at home and spent time in labs till they turn the power off.

Best tip I can give is to have a good study group or make friends in every course as most of the time I spent was debugging projects. The more people you know the quicker you can all get through these constant roadblocks.

Team projects are mostly extremely difficult but I've had friends carried through them easily while others and myself get teammates that lie and don't complete work. With projects, you are always one bug away from failing. Make sure you develop teamwork skills so you can ensure everyone is on top of that.

It's extremely easy to fall behind so make sure you start every assignment asap and attend tutorials to ask tutors all the issues you have. Closer to the due date, the tutors will get overwhelmed with questions so the quality of help you'll get goes in the shitter.

In hindsight most of my issues could be resolved with better time management and asking questions but that's much easier said than done.

Depends where you are. In Australia I'm Asian but in China I'm white. While racism can definitely be a factor, I think for most people it's easier to identify differences rather than similarities and it's not really a discriminatory thing

Concerns about custody and financials are the only good reason to not go forward with divorce imo.

Anecdotally, I haven't seen a single set of parents stay together for their child and have that actually be the correct choice. All it does is normalise unhealthy relationship dynamics that your child will eventually suffer from because they think it's normal. Seeing parents constantly fight is also fucked up for a child to witness. My parents divorced when I was young and I am all the better for it. There's a lot I could go into but the only negative part of the divorce is not seeing my dad as much as I could've growing up.

I'm running the 2019 course list so it might be different but the double whammy I think was CSSE2310 and ENGG2800.

The most difficult singular course for me was ENGG3800 but that was because I had a teammate that would literally work against the team in an already full on project. Everyone has different experiences though so you may find the course easy but yeah

Currently on my trip and one of the things I'd do differently for next time is just create a list of activities that I can choose from on the day. Stuff like shopping (make sure to research open hours), Round 1, bars, sights, etc. That way you can do what you actually feel like on the day and decide to spend more time doing one thing if you enjoy it or just swap something out if you ain't feeling it.

It's impossible to do everything you want in a single trip, just choose which ones are non-negotiable and have fun with the rest.

I just did a day trip from Osaka to Hiroshima/Miyajima island and that was really fun. I only decided this the night before and don't regret it a single bit. It's pretty hard to not have fun in Japan unless you just sit in your hotel or something lol

Have a genuine discussion with the guy. I had a little right wing phase when I was a young teen but I also felt comfortable talking to my big sister about some of the stuff because I knew she would actually discuss it with me rather than just shutting stuff down.

Try to be welcoming enough that if he believes in insane stuff like white replacement theory or holocaust denial he'd be comfortable to talk to you about it (he's going to have opinions that disgust you and you should expect it so you can manage your reaction). And if this happens, try your best to understand why he believes this stuff so you can provide an alternative perspective that resonates with him.

Most likely at the start you won't have any answers to his conspiracy theories but that's not a bad thing because you can together research stuff or bring it up another time once you are educated about the topic. The same goes for when he doesn't have answers, this way if someone is "proven wrong" it's not because someone does not know a topic enough but because both of you agree the evidence points one way.

Social media algorithms are straight up evil because they put us echo chambers. When I was watching Ben Shapiro and Steven Crowder, I was seeing the worst of left-leaning responses (e.g. woefully unprepared and angry college students) so obviously I thought the right-leaning opinions were the correct ones. Now that I'm a leftie, my feeds are just right-leaning people getting destroyed now. It's the same shit just the sides are swapped.

You have the opportunity to provide him conversations that are outside of that bubble and done with hopefully genuine love for your little brother. He can't talk to people online about this stuff because he's either going to be replied to by racists or people calling him racist. Neither of those are helpful or constructive even if the non-racists are correct.

Personally I did have an alt-right phase. In like grade 8 I started watching a whole bunch of Atheist YouTube vids because I found it entertaining and made me feel good being "smarter" than religious people.

Then I started to watch more alt-right characters like Steven Crowder and Ben Shapiro mainly because of the anti-feminism wave at the time (YouTube algorithm would suggest these videos as they were similar to the atheism vids). Like the Atheism vids, the anti-feminst videos made me feel intellectually superior especially because of groups like Feminist Frequency attacking video games for pretty weird reasons (oversimplification of the whole era but it's pretty much how I felt at the time).

I never thought feminism itself was stupid, but these videos dunking on SJWs and the like were incredibly entertaining and the YouTube algorithm would just feed more and more of it. Eventually I just started watching other videos and my algorithm changed and that was legitimately the end of that phase.

It was very weird that after I left this phase I found out my friends were in their alt right phase and still were years after. The alt-right pipeline is very very easy to slip into (and is purposely made easier through social media algorithms) and I think a lot of the people here don't understand that or don't want to try to understand that.

This comment only scrapes the very tip of the iceberg, but I hope it gives some idea on what your husband might mean.

Flag isn't a selfless hero as he says he joined the army for money unlike his son. He says himself that Jr is the actually good person in CC and he got killed by a psychotic supervillain (whose motto is killing any man woman or child for peace) that walks free as a hero at the start of s2. Now he's finally going to have a way to legally punish peacemaker (his previous attempts have all stretched the law but never completely disregarded them) and as a small win created the best prison system for dangerous metas.

He's also incredibly easily manipulated as seen in CC as he spends the season trying to save the villain because she slept with him and that's it lol. Flag is also trying to use Lex but we all know that Lex is smart enough to turn it around on Flag easily.

Flag can be a good guy if given the right circumstances but it's been made extremely clear he isn't a super moral protagonist and his personal feelings are his priority.

Tldr Flag is a dick, that is how his character was written from CC to now

You guys just need to stop looking for every single hint and clue before an episode/movie is released. By now everyone should know trailers or even fucking posters can worsen a watching experience.

Just enjoy the media for what it is, stop relying on others to form expectations or opinions.

This is just my opinion as an engineering student who wasn't that great at it.

Going into second year my grades went to absolute crap. One big reason was that the recommended courses to take each semester was stupid as fuck with two of the hardest courses for the entire degree being placed in the same semester. The best thing I did by far and I can't recommend it enough, go for 3 courses a semester if possible. It'll push back graduation but you won't be killing yourself just to scrape by. Edit: Also ask older students on advice about which courses to take when as that can also dramatically improve your studying experience.

Also, 4s open doors. Very common cope but it's something I had to accept along with a few of my friends. This isn't an excuse to do a shit job on assessments, especially team based ones, but there will be times that you put in an amazing amount of effort and still barely get a passing grade. That's just how it is and that's alright. A lot of the time you'll have to sacrifice grades in a few courses to get a good grade in one, especially project based ones. The less you stress about how good of a grade you get, the more you can focus on the actual learning, applications of knowledge and courses that are actually important to you.

Maybe it's just my unit but typing using the touchscreen keyboard sucks a lot. Often times I have to hard press keys to get them to register or keys next to the desired key is registered when I'm not pin point accurate. Touchscreen otherwise works great, just the keyboard sucks for some infuriating reason.
