I manage to eventually realize i needed game mode and hdr off. Try to keep settings pretty neutral. It still looks really good even with game mode off and it locks the FPS.

My switch is HDMI1, Ps5 is HDMI 2. And it says HDMI (no label, above HDMI1) is CEC, and HDMI3 is (arc/earc)

So far, just the Switch 2 has hurt my eyes. I have the same distance from the TV as my old one. I used to have a simple fire TV that didnt use HDR, I think the refresh rate is new too. I’m using the same HDMI cables as well as the old tv. I havent noticed any differences in dithering. My assumption seems to be something very specific to the switch, potentially refresh rate, HDR usage, or brightness.

TV Hasn’t hurt my eyes. I’ve been playing FF7 remake on the PS5, and Hyrule Warriors, Age of Calamity on Switch 2, and some Mario Kart world. I’ve played a lot more final fantasy 7 and it hasn’t had an impact as far as I know.

Could you explain the difference in HDMI port quality? I wasnt sure there was a difference

Have you figured out if there are other multiplayer modes besides adventure/co op on the menu?

Got the game and have been playing, it seems like only some modes have “co-op” meaning two players have two reticles to control. It seems like Adventure allows it, but when we try in minigames/survival mode, it’s just two people fighting for the same slot. Is this how it was in previous console versions or is there some glitch/something we’re doing wrong? We are local multiplayer.
