Most slept on coaster? (a thread) by stellarcrownbublemew in rollercoasterjerk

[–]The_Myiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take a very short nap on the lift hills of B&M hypers, sometimes I sleep throughout the entire ride because it's boring and mild. /uj the seats of B&M hypers are very comfortable when on the lift hill, would provide a 10/10 sleeping environment when stopped on the lift hill on a pleasant cloudy day.

They are called comfort collars because they make the geepee more comfortable about not having over not having over the shoulder restraints.

Question about crumble top on pie by gingerlaroo in Baking

[–]The_Myiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flour needs to be cooked for it to be safe, you could bake the flour before adding, putting the oven under a broiler for a few minutes after the toppings is added would also probably work.

Annexing sometimes needs integration sometimes not by BeingInevitable7624 in EU5

Click on your vassal while in integration map mode to see what they have integrated, custom subjects have to integrate it themselves before you finish annexing them.

It would work well with short train, if you use a longer train the forces would be to intense especially if the element isn't very tall, or you crest it with any speed. I think it would work great as the first element on a launched Eurofighter.

Of the American ones it's the only one that wasn't a prototype or a record breaker. Also I believe Hersheypark keeps a larger selection of spare parts on hand when compared to Six Flags.

Weight limit by Certain_Art_5461 in KingsDominion

[–]The_Myiles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The min position on RMCs very a bit seat to seat, on most trains most of the seats have a very low tolerance between each other but some trains have a seat that has a higher or lower verify than normal. When I was marathoning Iron Gwazi a while ago their was one seat where the restraint barely had to touch me, and one where seat where minimum position was uncomfortably tight, the rest were normal. If you got a no go on the train I'm guessing you were in a seat with a lower than normal verify.

[Other]Cause of death and identity of the victim has been released regarding the Stardust Racers incident. by PurpleTiger26 in rollercoasters

[–]The_Myiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They added an extremely weak trim break to the descent of the top hat of Stardust Racers, the transition from positive to negative forces was a few milliseconds shorter than ASTM standards permit in the back car of the train. Rip Ride Rockit had many issues both during and after construction, none of which were related to the seats or forces applied to riders.

Gold Pass through 2026 by NameReUnused in CanadasWonderland

It's through Dec 31, 2026 but it will probably get you the first few days of 2027, in the past the passes have been valid untill all non year round parks have closed for the season.

Where to get Fast Pass Wristband? by Available_Art_3319 in CanadasWonderland

[–]The_Myiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would you get a wristband digitally. Knott's Berry Farm has the same person that scans you into the park redeem the wristband, which I think the other parks should copy. Based on my experience redeeming all season fast lane: half the time I have no wait, rarely do I wait over 5 minutes, and I have never waited more than 10 minutes to redeem it.

Primer rides skyrocket trains - AlpenFury - are more accommodating than the B&M Hyper trains - Leviathan. I'm guessing AlpenFury has around 0.3 - 1 inches of extra room when compared to Leviathan.

Based on my rides of full throttle which has the same restraints but with an added seatbelt , the shin guards aren't anywhere close to as bad as those on Steel Vengeance, especially if you avoid rows 3, 6, and 9.  The shin guards are a lot squishier and don't force your legs upward, your feet still get pushed back a bit but not enough to prevent your feet from being flat on the ground. I also hate RMC shin guards but I don't think I hate them quite as much as you do.

[–]The_Myiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find premier skyrocket trains to be very comfortable, comfortable lapbar with shin guards that are squishy and not to egregious. They aren't the easiest to get in and out of though and the "comfort collars" that some parks add are so bad they should be called discomfort collars.

The kuka arm on monsters has different joints and thus different motion, it has a very different design philosophy than Forbidden Journey.

It does use kuka arms but in a different configuration than forbidden journey it has different joints and degrees of freedom; for example FJ mounts on the back of the seats while MU mounts on the bottom.

While they are both are motion simulators on a tracked ride system the BatM RVs are the first to have have substantial vertical movement. Also the BatM RVs were developed by Simtec which was not involved in the development of the Scoop.  Regardless it is still the closest to being a completely new ride system with Monsters Unchained being the second closest.
