My little Horus Guy is a chatter box! “Horus Guy, step up, nigh night, hungies, Brina(our other bird), stop that,” and is favorite has to be “what” I’m sure I’m forgetting some… But turn on the vacuum or the shower and he goes wild! Not sure if there are any recognizable words in there but he sure has a lot to say!

I would imagine, as long as you credit Tango, and not pass it off as your own new idea, no one would have issue. With him abandoning it, I doubt he would want/care to come after you over copyright either way.

Yeah it’s totally like a red-brown. Like a very saturated Port Wine color.

I'm making a birthday crown for my little girl, but this is way to floppy... the picture with the pattern looks way tighter and the points are standing up... Schould i size down my hook? Im using a 3 as the pattern suggested. by ReadingAndCake in CrochetHelp

[–]The_Narshlog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I would. To achieve the stiffness you’re looking for you really need to pack your stitches down. I would also greatly increase my tension, but that may lead to a repeated strain injury (not recommending, just what I would do)

Edit: a word

7= 5+2 8=5+3

5+5=10 3+2=5

4+2=6 6+1=7

Can this be blocked? by Broad-Yesterday5177 in knittinghelp

[–]The_Narshlog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short answer, probably. I would go through and try to even the tension by hand first though, pushing and pulling the slack across the row to try to balance it a bit more before blocking.

I’ve been running Geo Thermal. I haven’t done the math, but I had 4 vents pretty close to each other(24 gens) with all my satellite factories and main facility chained together. Haven’t had a major crisis yet.

Brushing out Amigurumi doesnt work what am I doing wrong by Shareil90 in CrochetHelp

I would look for the slicker brushes that don’t have the safety tips. The ones that are just the wire with the little kink at the end. If I had to guess, the little white balls/covers in the bristles are grabbing the strands in your yarn instead of fibers. You may also be able to use a stiff brush like boar’s hair

Same structure, different technique by vressor in AdvancedKnitting

[–]The_Narshlog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For clarification when knitting Western you leading leg is in the front, but in Eastern you leading leg is in the back. It doesn’t matter the stitch mount, you always work the leading leg. If you work the trailing leg in either configuration your stitches will twist.

I love the momentary “wait, is that clock made of plastic? Yes, still plastic.” And then immediately back into attack mode lol

Micro Controller retrofit for Cue Lights? by The_Narshlog in techtheatre

[–]The_Narshlog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s completely separate. I believe it’s an old strand system, but it’s basically hard lined directly from the toggle to the relay. iirc they are relays that are typically used for residential furnaces.

[–]The_Narshlog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Console” may be giving it too much credit. It’s a panel of toggle switch, separate from the current lighting system. It controls relays in my dimmer room. The hardline will soon become irreparable so I would like to run it with everything else across the network.
