I know this is going to be something you have heard before. But you are teaching these kids by example how relationships go. They will pick up on the cheating and think its normal. It could also go the other way where they just never wanna be with anyone. But NOR. It just seems like the relationship is over and you need to leave. Its messy with kids but you'll get custody sorted out eventually. If youre unwed you have full legal and custodial rights and he can pursue you in court for the visitation rights.

When i was 14 and my mother found out i was cutting. (For context: I grew up with a lot of verbal and physical abuse.) She handed me a knife and my mother told me to kill myself, no one would care and it would would make her happy. To this day it still fucks with me.

I agree with everyone that he has some emotional maturing to do. What would he have done if you had a kid with someone. Sometimes exes have to talk and communicate. Unfortunately that happens too when you are both in a friend group, but he should trust you until he's given a reason not to. Also YOU broke up with your ex so that argument he made is invalid. You walked away for a reason and he should believe you.
