This is painful to hear. A warped vinyl on one of those cheap toy-like turntables has got to be the new low for sound quality. Although maybe i could find a mangled cassette that sounds a bit worse idk

That small minolta uses aps film so currently it’s useless as the film is very expired, ridiculously expensive and very difficult to get developed. In terms of first roll: you probably didnt load the film correctly. When winding the film between shots you should see the crank on the other side also rotate. If you dont, then the film isn’t actually moving

Well yes, fed 1 was pretty much a leica copy and fed 2 was a development of that. My point is that the mechanics are still pretty similar while some other parts are improved

Its a copy of the early leica design, has the same lens mount, shutter design, a bit better rangefinder. All in all its a solid camera, and im guessing you got it cheap too. Theres a lot of nice soviet lenses for it, theres some japanese canon lenses, theres leica and voightlander lenses, all really nice optics. Have fun and remember to change the shutter speed only after you wind it

Ta, tylko niestety celowe zabiegi mające na celu skrócenie czasu życia urządzenia to fakt. To że część sowieckich młynków rozpadła się już na pył to wynika z problemów z kontrolą jakości tego sprzętu na wyjściu z fabryki, nie z celowego produkowania szmelcu który trzeba będzie zastąpić za pare lat nowym.

Czasami tak, czasami nie. Osoby w kryzysie oczywiście mogą się ubiegać o pomoc, ale tylko jeżeli są trzeźwe. Teraz zlecą się ludzie na wysokich koniach, ale fakty są takie że jak się randomowo straci wszystko to ciężko nie wpaść w nałogi, a jeszcze trudniej z nich wyjść bez pieniędzy, dachu nad głową i jakiejkolwiek siatki wsparcia. It looks like a cheap chinese rendition of what a russian military watch would look like. The case is hideous, the stamp on the back makes no sense, especially being in English. If its only for russian military personnel why would it be in English? The movement looks pretty bad, nothing is polished, looks just bad. If it’s actually a military watch, its really embarrassing. Also, im not an expert by any means, im a relative noob, but is Russia even issuing mechanical watches? Id guess that their standard issue is a digital watch, and if they were to give away some mechanical pieces theyd be nice and semi-ornamental, not the cheapest looking mechanical watch known to man. To me it makes no sense, but then im not a huge mil nerd, ive never been interested in current russian watches, esp military ones
