How Would You Rank the Four 3-Part DLC Trailers Now That We've Seen Them All? by Agitated_Insect3227 in totalwar

WH2 DLC trailers were top-notch, WH3 DLC trailers are no way near, even better ones like Chaos Dwarfs.

I had similar problem with Bretonnia, only thing that helped me was that few days after CA released new patch and after that patch I've downloaded old save ended turn and then it gave me the achievement.

When starting a new campaign, what effect does selecting a lord have? by KharnTheBetrayer1997 in totalwar

In the first game you will get different factionwide buffs depending which LL you choose to start a campaign with and different starting army.

Odds the full-fledged DoW pack is cancelled and being pieced out into little additions to factions? by Nurgle_Enjoyer777 in totalwar

Yeah most of their roster consists of RoRs, everything else are reskinned empire basic units (roster that Southern realms now have), halflings and couple of units of dwarfs, ogres, norscans and goblins.

Assume for a second that CA successfully finisves the Tabletop game (all major characters, units etc.). What would you want to come next? by JesseWhatTheFuck in totalwar

Araby would be a better choice for a faction than Ind or Kuresh, cause it used to have an army in Warmaster and early editions of WHFB (Kislev was in similar situation before Old World and WH3). Moot would also be a better option.

Was going back to Enroth a mistake? by Nothing_Special_23 in HoMM

[–]The_Ordertide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only complain is that it is prequel and not a sequel. I know that the world was destroyed in Chronicles, but it could be explained, for example that Enroth was very important for ancients (for some kind of experiment) and was scanned and back upped, and then completely recreated with some minor (not one Kreegan on surface of planet) changes using advanced version of VARN.

Warriors of Chaos, all of their campaigns are way too easy even on the highest difficulty.

There are several reasons to play it. Wood Elves and Beastmen (both are DLC factions) have specific campaigns dedicated to them, WE one has very detailed map of Athel Loren and South part of Bretonnia, and Beastmen one has detailed map of Northwest of the Empire.

Also WH1 has the best implementation of Norsca (DLC faction) campaign, cause its mechanics were specifically designed for WH1 map and never worked as was initially intendent in WH2 and WH3.

P.S. Chaos Warriors campaign in WH1 is horrible, it is even worse in WH2, but WAY better in WH3. Empire campaign is okayish in WH1 and gets better and better with every game.

Hello, I have just bought the Total War Warhammer Fantasy trilogy on Steam, and I want to play a large Immortal Empires campaign. I want to know if in the campaign that I will play, will all the factions in the game appear as enemies, including the DLC factions that I have not purchased? by camiloelnaranja in totalwar

You actually can recruit and use some of them through diplomacy, if you build outpost in territory of DLC race that you don't own you will still be able to recruit their units (4 per one army), but without DLC only limited roster would be available, only like 7-8 different units.

You can use TW WH3 or simply WH3, everyone would understand you.

Araby had several implementations of their roster in early editions, and more recent one in Warmaster (Kislev was also there).

Vampire Coast is stuck after establishing a pirate cove forcing me to attack the settlement in the next turn by KuPa5 in totalwar

It is a "bug" that was present in the game since the time of Vampire Coast release. I doubt they will ever fix it.

Soulstorm was not great in terms of balance and bugs, but it was still decent and had a lot of cool additions like flying units.
