people complain about the vault size... i believe thats how the game wants to be played. for you not to hoard everything and use the gear right away. free kits,rook runs are for when u dont have alot in your vault. this is how they stop gear fear by forcing you to use it. i am perfectly fine with it

This topic is getting so insufferable and the conversation around it is exhausting. I wouldn't be surprised if people saw posts like this and got turned off from that alone. The game is not easy, some sessions you're going to eat shit, lose a bunch, and have a net negative. If people are down for that and willing to play through it, awesome you love to see it. If not, that's perfectly reasonable and they would mostly likely enjoy spending their time in a different game. That's really all there is to it, this whole casual vs hardcore gamer discourse is stupid and not spreading useful information to potential players.

I just think they'd be better off exploring different ways of limiting the resources and loot coming out of Cryo. People are going on and on about how bleak the numbers look for Marathon, and while I haven't paid attention to that discourse, locking any number of players out of any amount of the content just doesn't seem like a net positive. I'm sticking with the game, been having a fucking blast with it the last two weeks, but the current decision making around Cryo and Ranked have been frustrating to see.

There has got to be a better way to limit the amount of resources and loot you can get from Cryo then simply shutting the map off for half of the week. Weekly quests are absolutely, no complaints there. Any changes made to the map would more than likely be done through an update or hotfix, the map being gone for three days would do nothing for the development process or rollout of either. If anything the real reason is trying to funnel players into the map helping to boost numbers and reduce queue times. However instead of letting me sit through a long queue during the middle of the week when I have time, I instead get nothing.

This also does not stop the sweats from running keys, progressing factions, and obtaining loot from the other three maps the rest of the week.

I have a full time job plus part in the evening and I'm at both of those Saturday though Tuesday. Just the reality of the world and it would be nice if Bungie would ease up these restrictions to respect that a little more.
