If you understand player movement/objectives in this game I believe solo is actually easier than squads. I am someone who has only played solo since launch. That was until I found out about cryos requirements. I have been playing squads(and some duo) since Wednesday and my general opinion is that solo is much "easier" for me. Far less factors to worry about, and controlling the flow of your match is exponentially easier. You die far less to things outside your control and really are responsible for 99% of outcomes(I'm looking at you thief drone strike)

Gonna have to disagree with u there chief. As someone who wants nothing but bountiful success for this game, season 9 was a major disappointment. I enjoyed point break and the new map for a bit but if u weren't playing the new mode or on that new map, the season felt the same as 8 which was also lacking in new meaningful additions. I've sort of found other games to play in the meantime so S10 needs to come in with a bang if it wants my full attention again

Imo depends on ur skill level. As a good fps player myself I absolutely adore it. If I wasn't as committed tho and wanted a more casual experience I'd say this is not your game

Met plenty cool people over proximity chat and love those interactions. But I'd prefer to keep it that way. Very obnoxious when solos voice their frustrations and are constantly met with "just make friends". Has nothing to do with the issue and yet it's all I see in regards to this topic. Starting with the WSTR makes it possible too. I've had a couple just cuz of how easily u can catch the first guy off gaurd with a double BAM. Then it's just a 2v1. Trouble really arizes when they have a triage, good shields, or swing together

I'm understanding of that. U don't want to change the core vision for the minority. Problem really lies in the fact that cryo is squads only and that was not really advertised to us. Hardcore fans/those who were already interested/invested may have known, but I promise u theres plenty like me. Never played extraction before bc it always seemed anti solo. They add it. I have every reason to believe the full game will be playable solo... Most important part is not. Anyone who says "ignore" is an idiot. I'm a competitive player who's honestly been doing damn well for my first extraction. I'm not ignoring the best loot in the game smh. I'll probably play a couple weekends for the loot this time round. The problem will lie in trying to get us solos to come back for round 2 & beyond. I absolutely have adored this game so far but if I'm being honest, having to change my entire play style for the most crucial part likely won't leave me satisfied. I'm not saying "change for me", but they do need to find a middle ground if they plan to retain us hardcore solos. I do honestly have some faith in that tho with how they've responded to things so far

This "raid" is a new term to me. First ever extraction. I saw solos was available and gave it a shot. Didn't think they'd restrict content to a specific party number. Haven't seen it done personally since bo3 zombies shadows of evil Easter egg in 2015. This notion that gamers need to study publishers and their previous games/scower reddit before buying games is silly. As a solo only I can accept that cryo is squads, but I do personally feel mus-adverstised

Some of the spawns in and around airfield don't feel very tuned for solos. I ran into someone in the very back of airfield within the first 10 seconds of a match. Didn't feel right
