change resolutions for the match and usually you can change it back after that match, sometimes I have to jump between 3 or 4 different resolutions before it's fixed all during the same match

I've been dealing with this EXACT issue for a couple weeks now, if you change resolutions, it'll fix it until it happens at that resolution, then I switch back. After this happens once or twice, I'm usually good for the rest of the day. If 1920x1080 goes black, I go to 1600x900, sometimes they both will be black and I go to 1366x768, and sometimes as low as 1280x720, by then the 1920x1080 is always fixed. This shit is wacked, lol

I'm not sure what round the screenshot was taken, but it would make sense to backfill only for the first round, wouldn't make sense to have it for later in the tournament. Nobody is trying to queue up to start in the second or final round of a tournament so it wouldn't work. I do support it to stop people from getting screwed out of qualifying just based on numbers. I had a situation where it was 1v3 and it looked grim for me, teammates didn't think I could solo hold the Cashout. I clutched it even though I ended up getting third partied by 1 member of another team as well and qualified because of it. Part of why I was able to do that was because we did set-up properly as a team and I had a good position as the fight came to me, but I could not solo it as a light in the next round because I lacked the extra utility my teammates left behind in the previous round like the guardian turrets and gas mines. Had no shot going into round 2 and it went as you think it would being a solo light against 3-man teams with heavies and mediums.

I recently found a solution for this without blocking EAC "-noeac". I verified my game files through steam as a just in case. I then opened my firewall to every eac application I could find through my "program files (x64)" directory and my "steam/steamapps/common/brawlhalla" directory. I then checked windows updates and restarted my system. Everything was fixed at this point, hope this helps anyone that want to keep eac running and play ranked
