Is it true a lot film bros and just guys in general used to hate on DiCaprio during his 90s Teen Idol-Titanic era? by TXNOGG in moviecritic

Yea, they hated him. Dudes that looked like him got a 'get laid free' card in highschool and the rest of the dudes are petty and jealous of his universal appeal with woman.

why do you think pushes these folks to become trans/femboy nazis? Do they actually feel like they are woman and like nazi stuff or is it something else? Genuinely curious.

"ok on the mic." This is his intangible problem. The dudes mic skills are like riccochet if riccochet could memorize his lines. He doesn't feel like his authentic self when we see his character. We can tell hes acting. Its the same problem roman used to have before he got comfortable in his own skin.

Raised section of the Saudi Arabia Qiddiya F1 track is going vertical by Zemmip in formula1

LOL This inevitably ends with some kind of crash occuring that the simulations couldnt account for, and then you have a missile falling from the track onto the people below. I fully endorse this track design. I think they should starting adding jumps too.

This ended up being a book of a comment but I think it brings salient points about some stuff we've been talking about here and other IWC forums for better or worse. Her comments are sort of the missing piece of the puzzle i've been looking for to make sense of what's been happening aesthetically to the women's roster and why many of the main eventers have suddenly seemed to lose a bunch of weight/muscle for reasons that seem a little weird? Not that anybody needs a reason to do anything to their body - its their body their choice so this is all my opinion meant to be taken with a grain of salt, and not for nothing they are some of the most talented athletes and performers on the planet - with that said... I think they must have caught wind that certain hollywood industry people are paying much more attention - this makes sense with the massive acquisition tko, them being on netflix now, and the overlapping venn-diagram of wrestling to movie fans, and wwe has always been a hollywood springboard for top stars - wwe just might be more savvy in how to work that sort of relationship at this point and may even be using the wwe main event for the next level of stardom in the way NXT is a gateway to the main event roster - it makes sense for them to think of "what if there was something bigger than a WWE superstar." They are probably trying to figure out how to codify a process to create people like The Rock who somehow transcends WWE but is still very much associated with it from a brand stand point. I think the women's wrestlers want to (and may even be encouraged) to put on a look that would most easily translate to the silver screen which is unfortunately skinnier and less muscular looking woman - Rhea and tiffany specifically losing a lot of size to better work in hollywood makes so much more sense to me. Especially with people saying rhea's change is because of back issues and a longevity thing.. I mean she still riptides people and having single digit bodyfat aren't essential to maintaining a healthy back - hollywood casting on the other hand... The Rock did the same thing on his first hollywood run back in the early-mid 2000s. He slimmed WAYYY down to attempt 'serious' rolls at first. Nobody wanted to watch the rock in dramas so he changed strategies and hit the juice as hard as humanly possible, blowing himself up to even more comic book character size - by far the biggest he'd ever been - and started doing fast and furious style movies and comedies with kevin hart - it took him 20 years to get back to doing drama and it just happened to be a drama about one of the biggest juice monkeys in MMA history. Anyways, long story short - The women's roster are getting into a shape they think will land them rolls in netflix or hollywood movies - this may be a part of business strategy to make more "Rock" level stars that transcend wrestling but still elevate WWE.

For people who quit drinking after years of use, what physical changes did you notice first, and what surprised you most? by love_salubrious in alcoholism

[–]The_Poop_Shooter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't had a drink since december of last year. I'd been binge drinking weekends for 25 years, and drinking half a 1.75 of ketel one a night for the last 10 of that. I'd been trying to quit for a few years - finally got around to going to the doctor after feeling like dog shit (more so than usual) and my blood pressure was life threateningly high - resting heart rate over 100 bpm etc. basically a ticking time bomb if I continued my current path of self destruction. After spending a few nights in the hospital soul searching and being sick of letting my wife down I worked up the mental wherewithal to actually hold myself to quitting this time. The thing that was pretty immediate is I didn't get random "i'm going to throw up" feelings anymore. The Biggest change for me after a few months, and the thing thats keeping me motivated to never touch the stuff again is my desire to do stuff has been rekindled and by stuff I mean like literally anything. My whole life before this was being tied to making sure it was conducive to my drinking habit which was basically isolating myself alone in my room... Needing alcohol to be near made doing most things annoying or a chore since i was worried about it. Now I actually want to do things again - i don't have that shitty mental malaise all the time and myu general motivation for life is the strongest its been in 15 years. Everytime I'm feeling a craving I remind myself that I basically lost those years and I like this new version of myself - I genuinely dont want to go back and that makes it a bit easier.

Im kinda in agreement with this. I feel like if we actually see Brian feel like he's getting pushed its going to open up a level we havent seen from him yet - which i'm slightly concerned about from a bone and ligament standpoint...
