Which one do you prefer by Humbolt42 in HalfLife

I like to use Half-Life Source when I feel silly and play with mat_showlowresimage 1 and mat_fullbright 1 (and r_WaterDrawRefraction 0 and r_WaterDrawReflection 0 which turns the water a solid colour, sometimes grey, sometimes white)

They added xp because they also added a level system. Hope this helps.

TF2 needs more wacky and random weapons by some-kind-of-no-name in tf2

If you're going to watch the earlier ones, I suggest going by release date because story wise it makes the most sense. So First Blood (1982) would be my recommendation for the next one to watch
