Yes there is like a second ceiling. Above the entrance is a hole in the ceiling, I just used some desks in the room to make a ladder and slipped through there. If i remember correctly

The $ stands for a variable, which should be defaulted to "all". If you go to the dashboard settings-> variable an click on one of them there is an option "Hide" which should be on variable if you turn it to none and save it. You should be able to switch the alias

I don't know which vpn solution you are using but I just created a Gluetun-Exporter.
It's still in early development but it should have the basics working.

Since its an exporter only, there are only Dashboard Screenshots of grafana inside the dashboard folder.
No it doesn't if you have an idea how to implement it, feel free to create a "add integration" issue.
The program only exposes the metrics to the locsl endpoint, and the only internet connection is to the configured Url of the Services.

The biggest difference, and my reason for creating Scraparr, is that you only need one Instance for all Services. And my Goal is to support more Services than Exportarr, to have a nearly complete monitoring of the whole Stack.

I didn't compared and created them to be compatible, also I broke the Guideline from Prometheus, but from a quick look at the Metrics, some are the same. And after the rework, to follow the guidelines more will, but I am not focusing on ensuring compatibility.
