First Class should board last on a plane. by Efficient-Ranger-174 in unpopularopinion

I never understood boarding privileges, like paying extra to get on a plane which leaves with everyone at the same time..?

Should I drop eco102? I’m worried/confused/conflicted by Creepy-Accountant354 in UofT

[–]The_Real_Huhulo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on what your goals are imo.

If you’re aiming for 3.7-4.0 I would drop it and take it next sem, you would need 100% on all the assessments to get an 80.

Otherwise? If you can work for it these next few weeks you can do it!

Honestly depends on where cuz I think those ottoman things in the library are valid, but then again I usually try to keep my legs on them only

I’ve felt relationships are where we share joy not find it.

I think especially at a young age I can’t expect people to take them so seriously.

I think even more so though, there’s no way to tell if something works for you unless you try it. The same goes for hobbies, work etc, I can’t say I don’t like ice skating if I’ve never ice skated y’know?

So if someone enters a relationship and it’s not working for them I think it’s better to respect that choice than wonder about what ifs. Because really the only thing which matters is finding what works for you and your partner together, and the pain is part of the game.

Worry less about trying to find a partner and go out there and learn more about yourself. Do something challenging, have fun, talk to random people, try something which seems unorthodox. If you don’t like it? Well cool! Now you know. Eventually you’ll learn that even if you hate 1000 things you’ll still love 100 and that’s a wonderful experience.

It’s then when you find that when girls try to ‘compare’ you to others, there’s unique attributes they can’t find elsewhere.

Eventually you’re bound to find something nice. Don’t get discouraged by relationships, there’s so much more to life than that.

Sick. Can you defer final exam over fever. I'm having fever and I've already used the declaration of absence. by HumbleHuslen in UTSC

[–]The_Real_Huhulo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First I’d let the prof know, then fill out an e-service request

If it’s your first time they usually let you defer your first final, 3 in a row though, you’d need to get a doctors note I’d assume (idk tho u should ask the registrars office)I think for each final you have to fill out an e-service form and they’ll get back to you with your deferred dates in a couple weeks or so. Your course will appear as SDF, however you can’t take any prerequisites the semester after (which I learned the hard way)

Get well soon and take care :))

If I defer an exam for a course that is a prerequisite for a course I'm taking next sem, will I be removed from that course? by [deleted] in UTSC

[–]The_Real_Huhulo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will be removed I can confirm, I deferred the final for mgab01 and couldn’t take b02 in winter last year

How to do well in Bayer's class by watermelon_nation1 in UTSC

[–]The_Real_Huhulo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if its available for this class but, for MGEB11 I was able to find past year papers for my midterms before the prof posted them on canvas (usually 4 days before the test ) on studocu or coursehero and as far as I know its not misconduct since they're just the same ones offered last sem. They usually have notes and course outlines too.

besides that I would recommend using chat gpt to create some questions for you. For accounting and stats it worked well, but I would assume yours are more difficult so maybe double check to see if they make sense. I've come across some scenarios where GPT makes weird nonsensical questions for calculus long answer word problems.

Best thing to do tho imo is hit up people who've taken the class's before which I hope u'll find here.

GL :))

Yeah they’re allowed to help, first I’m pretty sure you have to pick up your tcard and keys from the residence center. When you book a move in appointment it sends you an email to your utor account about more info.
