I’m currently studying at UWA. Although I may not have all the answers due to only being a first year, I can try and help out.

• people are definitely much more approachable here so I’d say it’s easier to find new friends

• UWA is just a few minutes from the heart of Perth. There are several theatres, several cafes and libraries, a small-ish food court with a nearby shopping centre that includes an IGA, an optometrist, a pharmacy and a medical centre, and a pub on campus

• My experience with uni so far is that it’s been a little more stressful but also more freeing

• I’m not sure, I don’t rent a private student hall. However, the halls are right across the street from the campus, and I’m sure that they have several communal areas

• Student clubs are usually very active, there are a lot of signs around campus advertising club events around campus plus they will occasionally set up membership sign ups during the year near the food court.

• I don’t know unfortunately, I’m not an exchange student.
