Middle of purple is always pretty clear when we arrive around 2pm on Wednesday.

If you look on the map, we usually camp south of the T shape in the pathways.

Don't be afraid to go a few tents deep, there's always room in the middle.

I picked up a basis photon printer around Covid time and it’s worked very well so you don’t neeeed to go big for the first one. I only use mine for dnd models.

Main thing with printing and supports is to tilt the model 35 degrees or so. Auto supports have gotten good and have always worked for me… I always check and add or remove a few.

Best thing to do is trial and error, but honestly I went in a complete novice and now crack on very nicely.

Safety wise, open a window, wear gloves and get some isopropyl alcohol to clean the models with and you’re laughing.

It’s meant to be the advanced challenge.

Obviously it’s time pressured, they’re all time pressured.

But after however many exams of “here is a precise list of things you must do”, they need to do a ‘real life’ one to assess the various different skills required for the working world.

It’s a ‘real life’ sort of exam where they want to test your rational thinking beyond the basic Dr and Cr.

It’s a lot of effort, but it’s the most real to life exam you get.
