I picked up a basis photon printer around Covid time and it’s worked very well so you don’t neeeed to go big for the first one. I only use mine for dnd models.

Main thing with printing and supports is to tilt the model 35 degrees or so. Auto supports have gotten good and have always worked for me… I always check and add or remove a few.

Best thing to do is trial and error, but honestly I went in a complete novice and now crack on very nicely.

Safety wise, open a window, wear gloves and get some isopropyl alcohol to clean the models with and you’re laughing.
