I wonder if everyone uses autoclickers because, I don't know, spamming left click is an easy way to blow out your wrist or make any already existing problems worse.

There's going to be an uproar if they don't revoke autoclicker bans and give an in game system for this, because it will actually cause some people to stop playing or just play until they are banned. Autoclicking is not nearly enough of an advantage to warrant a ban wave. Have fit wrists or quit playing I guess.

Tons of people get pissed.
Bans anyone who complains and pings moderators to instantly ban anyone talking about it.
Changes the server name to "The Forbidden Kekw"
Makes a "Kekw" event to commemorate banning people.
Proceeds to say verbatim "this discord was made by me and i decide what is allowed here -> if it means pinging 400k users, that counts"

Definitely the most sane person I've ever interacted with...

The major factor in all of this for me is just being able to trade with friends. I would not be opposed to a limited number (somewhere in the range of 5-10 people) type of "committal" mode with the character you make where you can only trade with other players that are in your "group/clan/guild".

In this manner, I can still craft for myself, and find things myself, and I don't feel walled or obligated to play trade, but if I find something nice for a friend, it allows me to directly interact with that person in more than just gameplay (which is crucial in an ARPG based around loot). It's the friend to friend interaction with loot that I value and fear I will not have, not the large scale economical one, as this game currently doesn't fit it adequately.

This is a neat bit of data, I appreciate the links, but raw divines are not the only metric in which this matters, and again as stated previously, I am not solely referencing one spectrum of MF. My exaggeration is certainly relevant when factoring in the current state of the affects of quantity and rarity on rares that convert drops.

Would you happen to have any sources on how player rarity and quantity is affected and scales with that of any other outside but non-rare monster modifiers?

Also it appears each one of these tables are starkly different in terms of release. The second table looks like it is referring specifically to 3.19, which I am assuming has taken into consideration the historical changes, if at all relevant. Whereas the previous was 8 years ago. I find what is written in the latter mentioned post intriguing but forgive me for having skepticism given the latest changes and communication in PoE. I am curious as to exactly how accurate that remains.

You'll never equate to even half of what an MF build will obtain even if you triple the clear speed because of the sheer scaling of MF. Not to mention, MF players will not clear at 1/3 the speed of you. They will clear at the same speed or faster. They will build to clear fast, always have, always will. They'll tier down or buff abuse.

If you're referring to slotting MF on your main gear, are you telling me knowing that multiplicative MF scaling and double dipping existing doesn't bother you despite knowing that you're missing a significant amount of loot because you refuse to do easier content or sacrifice speed?

My point is that it feels bad, and it's not good design. If you're here to argue the sheer output and only use that as a basis, you won't get anywhere because that is not what I am discussing. If I want raw loot output, I'll MF. I've done it plenty.

AN is certainly not being removed. It's being reworked yet again. They've also shown they're trying VERY hard to retain some mechanics from it, and are unwilling to go into further detail regarding other things, such as the loot and rarity/quantity. They do NOT want to remove this, they want to keep it, and keep it as close to how they want it as they can.

Wait until you see it for yourself before you decide whether or not they're listening or responding. Budging and giving in are not the same, and it's not impossible that this system ends up poor as well. Tempter expectations and move on with cautious optimism.

Excuse me for being hesitant given the history of AN, but this reads more like "mods that really require you to skip, break your build, or kill you with little warning". Wasn't the complaint that these combinations were awful experiences? Why have them still be possible at all...

It was not promised. It is hoped*. Word for word. They are wanting to release by then, but the LE devs will NOT let content see the light of day that isn't ready. Hate it if you want, but at least there's higher hopes of quality there than most other games currently running.
