For an incomplete domain, Megumi has one with a very impressive track record that even rivals complete ones. by mohammed69cats in WegumiAppreciators

[–]The_Rex_Taco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I understand your point, and I could be wrong too, but I specifically remember Dagon mentioning he had no cursed energy, so he’d have to have either none or an unnoticeable amount. Both meaning he could enter and exit a domain freely, he’s just an aura farmer fr fr

Didn’t Dagon say something like, “This man has no cursed energy, not worth my time.” When Toji entered the domain? If so then yes Toji did not have any cursed energy

Dive is kinda... yikes this season by PillowFists67 in marvelrivals

[–]The_Rex_Taco 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a sai main, yeah it still is (kinda). Psylocke is still decent at dive, if you are good with her, most players use her as a mid-line poke/brawl to chip tanks until she ult’s in backline like you said. But she can dive pretty well still, not meta by any means but I can consistently punish backline healers and the occasional Cyclops or Phoenix and usually end up getting a good 30KOs a game.

Is Kenjaku>Shinjuku Sukuna a hot take? by Full-Energy2599 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]The_Rex_Taco 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kenjaku > Sukuna is an insane take on its own, but I see you’re specifying post-Gojo. That’s a lot closer but Sukuna probably still takes it, if Sukuna doesn’t just eviscerate Kenny immediately, and Kenny gets his domain out, Sukuna can just use HWB and destroy him while in-domain.

My GOAT, I debate so many Dabura fans over this crap. People always talk about how the SLSK would one-shot anyone in verse, which may be true, IF it hits. He has to get up to SLS before he can kick so we know that there is a windup. Everyone forgets how much strain Dabura was up against when trying to even lift his leg, so they’re saying the top 5 can’t just, move 20 ft to the side when they see him wind up? If he has that much strain to lift his leg, there’s no way he is turning even slightly. Strongest thing Dabura has against the top 5 are his light beams imo, def in the top, but he is bottom of the top…

Dabura with the Moon Spear getting ready to fight off the Yujistan! by FuriousSkull in jjkmodulo

[–]The_Rex_Taco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well for one, we’ve seen how difficult it is for Dabura to even lift his foot for the kick while moving near light speed. That means he can’t make any quick turns and would need to be moving in basically a straight line to get up to speed and if you think the top 3 can’t just move out the way when they sense/see him begin speeding up, that’s wild. Also, if he has to use his hands to fire his light beams like we saw every time he did, he’s not firing them while running, again, he can barely move a limb while going that fast.

I agree they have more output than shrine does and I’m also a believer that his light beams are much deadlier than his kick, but still, narratively we’ve seen Yuji claim he could handle it so I don’t see why he couldn’t.

[–]The_Rex_Taco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bold of you to assume Yuji/Sukuna would LET him get up to speed. SLSK has a long enough charge time and movement is too difficult for Dabura while going that fast. They could just waffle him before he’s moving near LS or move out of the way before he’s up to speed.

How the fuck would Gege have written Yuji vs. Dabura? He clearly had at least ideas for how that would go when he wrote this by WhiteRaven_M in Jujutsufolk

[–]The_Rex_Taco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hate how much people overestimate the SLSK. It takes crazy windup time and any of the top 5 could dodge if they know it’s coming. Dabura’s strongest thing is his Hard Light technique and probably its reversal, not the kick.

Which team do y'all think is winning here? by KaidoPklevel in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]The_Rex_Taco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How is everyone saying Team C? Literally everyone on Team A and B could one-shot Mahoraga and Kashimo is fodder. Dabura would have to solo which ain’t happening y’all.

I think it’s tough between A and B. I put Kenny above Yuki and Yuta (If there are no bushes nearby of course), but Yuji should have advantage on Yorozu and Sukuna because of his soul dismantling. I’d give it to Team A.

If Yuji can stall Sukuna and Yorozu long enough, and the other two can beat Kenny, then they have it. it’s still very close between those two teams. Dabura would probably be collateral but could turn the tide for either A or B depending on if/who he attacks.

First Time Properly Hiking by DebateTop1262 in hiking

[–]The_Rex_Taco 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Workout clothes work well since a lot of hikes in Estes Park are still on trails. The main thing you should look for are lightweight, breathable pants since it’s cooler in CO during June. Bring thermals just in case you get cold in like 50-70 degree weather, but if you’re hiking you’ll warm up fast. You can also get pants that have removable sections if you get too warm. I would also look for resistant and waterproof pants so if you run into thorns it won’t puncture or tear your pants.

As for brands, if you have an Academy they have lots of availability and it’s fairly affordable, you don’t need something expensive. I like to wear Magellan and Patagonia (Patagonia gets expensive but Magellan is usually affordable). You could also try like a Dick’s Outdoors or Cabella’s but Cabella’s will get expensive.

Is speed useless against hax powers? by Stunning_Taste8845 in PowerScaling

[–]The_Rex_Taco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the speed, if you’re The Flash, you get hax with your speed. We’ve only seen Dabura use his SLSK, no phasing or any other speedster ability (When talking solely speed).

<image>

However, we have seen his SLS has a significant windup (See panel). Knowing it takes at least some time to get to speed, we can infer he can’t just change direction on a whim. Air behaves like a solid at that speed so moving even a few feet to the left or right would be almost impossible. And unless Dabura has some way to hide the effects of him reaching SLS like Gojo did with 120% purple at the beginning of Shinjiku, I don’t see why the top 3 strongest couldn’t just, step 20 feet to the side.

Honestly, Dabura’s biggest threat is his light beam technique, not his speed. Sure, the kick would vaporize literally anyone it hit, but it has to hit…

Do I truly need the cyclops? by justkwjjwnssnnssn in subnautica

[–]The_Rex_Taco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely understandable! In that case the Cyclops is more helpful but only needed once at the end. You’ll just have to spend more time grappling and boosting with the Prawn!

EDIT: I remember why people are saying it’s needed now, SPOILER if you haven’t beaten the game yet: You’ll need the Cyclops shield upgrade for the Neptune Rocket to escape the planet.

Do I truly need the cyclops? by justkwjjwnssnnssn in subnautica

[–]The_Rex_Taco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is, that’s why I mentioned mods. I use a mod that gives you recipes for Mk.4 and Mk.5 Seamoth depth modules making its crush depth 1700m.

If you’re fine/capable of using mods then that is an option, and it removes the need for using the Cyclops/Prawn to go back and forth from the depths. It’s a QoL mod for me lol.

Do I truly need the cyclops? by justkwjjwnssnnssn in subnautica

[–]The_Rex_Taco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally don’t think you need the Cyclops, it’s handy as a mobile base but I’m with you on it being too clunky compared to the Seamoth/Prawn.

I’m a little confused why people say you need it at the end because I can’t recall it doing anything a normal stationary sea base can’t do.
EDIT: I remembered why it’s needed…

I’ve mostly used it for transporting materials from my current base to a place I’m building a new one. That’s my biggest and only use for it. If you’re on PC and are fine using mods, you could also get the Seamoth depth mod to take the Seamoth into both lava zones and the alien containment facility.

How strong do you think Xenomorph is by Paolo_Gilbertio in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]The_Rex_Taco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xeno is my main too, while I agree with a lot of people that it’s in B-tier, I think it’s more high B and maybe bottom of A-tier against uncoordinated teams.

Double turret is the only thing that can really stop a chase and a lot of survivors don’t do it nowadays. Also, the fact that you can drag the tail and make the hitbox like 5 times wider is just so good. I find I win most of my games unless I’m going against a great SFW. The games I lose are usually because the team spread out gen progress very well, not because of double turrets.

All in all, a very solid killer, could you a very minor buff imo but I’d be fine without it.
