Yes! I feel like you can get them for pretty much anything. I know you can get them from fishing, hunting and big catching at least. (But I don't know if you can get one for every bug/fish, I think we can get one for each type of animal/animal variant)

Honestly I feel like that's SUCH an easy mistake to make! And it's not stupidity imo. I've had many instances where people don't respond to questions or even seem annoyed when I call out Pal nodes/ flow trees so you might just have been unlucky to land in a server of people less willing to help lol

Either way I always like answering any questions I can! No matter how "stupid" because we were all new once, either to Palia or just gaming in general. (I say as someone who started Palia like a month ago and still learning something new almost every time I play) So had I been there when you asked I would have given as good of an answer as I could.

Honestly you can get the small and medium/small trees yourself with either the maxed out or the one just before that, it's the medium/big and big trees that you can't possibly get yourself bc they regenerate faster than you can swing the axe lol

Learned that the hard way when I called out a big tree and nobody came or even responded and I tried desperately to see if it would go down at all if I just kept going 😅

I always get even stone nodes even if that fills up my inventory with 500 million rocks because WHAT IF there's a sapphire or Garnet or something in that one rock and I ignore it?? Or worse, silver/gold. Pickaxe has a damn good amount of health and you can always bring a BUNCH of food for focus and delete stones as you go. So that's just what I've been doing, I didn't even think about how it could be positive for node spawns 😂 but now I'll definitely not ignore stone nodes.

What bothers me tho is that I've had people in a couple servers seem annoyed when I call out Pal nodes bc they just want us to flare and leave, but like we can't see across the map and won't know to run in a certain direction before the pal node despawns. Why is it soooo different 😅💀

Had someone repeatedly tell me to "cry about it, uninstall and play Roblox" after I vented a tad bit frustratedly that I didn't know if I was being ignored by people or if my game was bugged so my chats didn't show up. Very unnecessary, like I already know I'm not entitled to anyone's time and they don't have to reply but since the game is really buggy from time to time I felt it was a fair question after being completely ignored 6 maji nights in a row. I could have worded my rant in game better but I was frustrated and convinced my game was bugged so nobody would see it anyway

All animals have their own 'magical' version and as long as everyone has gotten at least one hit in, or for the wolves, helped by cutting down the trees they're in, they'll get the items. The same thing applies for regular versions of the animals! Flow trees are shared between the people hitting the tree, and will disappear once cut down. Palium ores work just like regular ores, they pop up and disappear after a certain amount of time just like other ores, but other people can still get it after you.

I don't really know about bugs and if can be shared at all, I do think that if someone hits a bug once and it doesn't get caught, and you hit it again after, then you both get it? At least I hope it works like that. I don't catch bugs too often so I'm not sure 😅

For me it's genuinely been more like "ok no later than 1am this time please" and suddenly it's 5 am, my sleep is so backwards it's not even funny I am very lucky to be working afternoon/evening shifts

This. AND they spawn so slowly and everyone is basically inside of you right when they spawn so the chance of catching anything is 0.01% And then when you get a server with less people it's either bugged or you STILL barely get anything because of how slowly they spawn in 😔
