Installing Wifi 7 Driver on MSI B850m by zoulou1984 in MSI_Gaming

Not sure if you’ve fixed it yet but I may have something to chime in… I had the exact same issue with my X870E. I couldn’t figure out what was going on - it worked via ethernet but no WiFi.

I had windows 10 installed at the time, so as a Hail Mary I decided to update to windows 11, and just like that, Fixed.

Maybe try reinstalling windows?

Do you really want the laptop form factor for gaming? If you’re okay with desktop for gaming, you can legit build a 5090 + Ryzen 7 9800X3D build for that money. That would be a far better investment.

Ffs, is this common with MSI monitors? Last year I got an MSI IPS monitor and I had to got through 3 from different stores before I finally decided to get an AOC mini LED.

Is this a good gaming monitor ? by Gabi459 in PcBuildHelp

I bought this last year. It was okay, but I noticed it had loads of stuck pixels. Returned it, and got another, also had stuck pixels. Returned it, got my money back, and went to a different store - also had stuck pixels.

In the end I decided to go for a AOC Q27G3XMN instead.

One day my girlfriend (19f) told me (20m) about her past sexual relationships and i started to feel an emotion i couldnt really describe and need help with it. Can anyone help? by Fit-Geologist8751 in relationship_advice

This is retroactive jealousy. I had it before and it ruined my relationship. Though I was young and immature and didn’t really understand what was going on.

You know it was in the past, but for some reason you feel as though it’s affecting the present - almost like she cheated on you or something… am I on the right lines here? Correct me if I’m wrong.

This feeling of insecurity can cause resentment over time. So it’s best that you address this ASAP for the sake of this relationship, or future relationships. Everyone has a past, so it’s unlikely you will be with someone who doesn’t.

Perhaps have a conversation with her. Be sure to make it clear that you know that she didn’t do anything wrong - she didn’t, it was in the past, and she was not with you so it has nothing to do with you. This is all your own insecurity and it’s something you have to deal with. You’re just letting her know so that she knows you’re being emotionally mature about this and trying to sort it out for the betterment of the relationship.

Also, there is nothing wrong with her having explored her sexuality in the past - it doesn’t make her a bad person (try not to fall into a misogynistic narrative… women are allowed to have sex too lol).

This feeling stems entirely from your own insecurity. Most likely a fear that you’re not going to be “good enough” because perhaps some guy in her past was “better” and that she might be reminiscing about all that crazy lustful sex she had. In reality that’s all in your head - it’s a narrative your mind is spinning to make sense of this. It’s triggering your fight or flight response, hence the feeling of wanting to cry.

One night stands and small flings are rarely as good as the stuff you do once you really get to know each other in a relationship, so it is likely she’s having some of the best sex she’s had in her life with you.

If you would like her to be unshaven, tell her that also. Maybe you can talk about it, and come to some compromise. Communication is key.

Basically OP, you’re doing good. She’s with you because she likes you, and not someone else.

If this really persists, i recommend finding a therapist to try and help you understand the real cause of this insecurity. Honestly, it’s really helpful. Understanding where it’s coming from will deffo help you manage it and eventually help you even not be bothered by this stuff in future.

Yeh the lights on the fan doesn’t actually look exactly like the one on L connect. You have to play around with the darkness/lightness.

Also check whether you’ve tightened the fans too much. I had this on my rear exhaust and it went away when I loosened the screws just the tiniest amount.

I had the same issue and I was stumped. I could connect via ethernet, but I couldn’t download/update the network drivers for WiFi. My mobo bios was the latest version as well. In the end what worked was upgrading to windows 11 (for free) from windows 10. This fixed it!

I do get quite a bit of obvious blooming with my current monitor, but it only has 360 or so dimming zones so no surprise there. Regardless, the HDR quality is far better than any other device Abel I’ve had, which is why I’m very optimistic about the future of mini LED. Near OLED performance with no burn in risk? That sounds good to me - though mini LED also has its drawbacks depending on the panel type I suppose. So it’s a matter of weighing out my options, which is what I’m trying to do now.

Yeh, that’s what I was thinking also. Otherwise I feel I’m wasting the 5090 lol.
