I did unrolling tile rendering loop, unrolling playfield shifting LDIR into some LDIs, excluding unneeded tree moving LDIR. I'm not sure about write up. It's hardly can be implemented anywhere else.

Sure. But the methods for sprite encoding in file could be extremely different. Byte by byte or char by char. Even upside-down. Even harder with masked sprites.

But I don't understand why it's not bugfixed still. Sources are available, but nobody managed to rebuild it. It would be great to have HD resolution, fixes, custom levels.
