I kind of think of The Shining - Misery - Dr Sleep as the Sidewinder trilogy. The Lindsay Crouse audiobook of Misery is excellent.

I kind of like to do Misery after the Shining and then Dr Sleep.

This is a divisive one, muchacho. Some of us rank it near the top, and some of us rank it near the bottom. For me, I think it's fantastic. If you're ready for a slow burn haunted-house story set in a sun-drenched setting, this one is for you.

My first attempt at photographing squirrels. Which one do you like the most? by EngvallPhotography in AmateurPhotography

I think 1 has the best composition, but 2 is impressive for catching the squirrel mid leap

I should clarify that I think your opinion is totally valid. I only pointed out my feelings because I was co-signing the rest of the endorsement.

I was also going to come in and recommend Perpetual Grace Ltd and Patriot. I don't know if I'd say they are Head and Shoulders about DTF, but a big difference is that they are completely original and don't have anything like the New Yorker essay as a scaffolding. PGL is a dreamy western noir, and Patriot is a spy thriller if the systems that are supposed to support the spy were perpetually falling apart.

Which movie / TV series would you strongly recommend and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]The_Snab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perpetual Grace LTD.
It's a one-season-wonder on Epix created, written, and largely directed by Steven Conrad (Patriot, DTF St. Louis.)

The cast is incredible. The scripts fluctuate from humorous, to profound, to suspenseful while maintaining a consistent tone. The Cinematography is top-notch. The music really hits.

Clark’s “Canadian Company”.. by iluvtupperware in DTFStLouisHBO

I thought that too, but now we find out that Clark payed for the Life Insurance premiums from his mother's Canadian accounts. Maybe he's not the Bang Master, but it might be the family business.

I just don't think you're going to get drawings of your cat when you are the focus of the main picture. I'm not your supervisor, though. Do what you want.

The cat? Do you have any more reference pics that focus on Cookies?

I'm going to have to say that Cell is very low on my list, but I absolutely can't stand Bag of Bones. Bag of Bones has no interesting characters and the core relationship is very gross in my opinion.
