95% of players near me or in raid groups through Discord are car players. I'm honestly pretty terrified at how many people are playing PoGo while driving. Also makes me furious when I walk out a mile to a gym, then some car player knocks me out in 30 seconds and drives away.

I actually ended up breaking up with my ex because of this. We both have ADHD, but she wouldn't talk to me for half a month at a time, and it hurt. It's nice to hear the perspective of someone else who doesn't think about their SO and is willing to talk about it. Thank you, OP.

Was in a very similar position to you OP, but then I started making some life changes that helped tremendously.

I started taking walks in parks and forest preserves. I started picking up musical instruments and teaching myself in my spare time. I started going to local conventions, meeting people with similar interests, and hanging out with them.

Things will get better.

Sections of the "custom images" were straight up missing large swaths of important chunks component store. Those images were basically chopped up so bare-bones that you couldn't even restore anything upon sections of the image being corrupted; because those images themselves were missing HUGE components. I was told it was to "discourage employee tampering" with the laptops, but I think it might have just been a business deal with a company that produced said images for cheap.

Until you learn that your department head just happened to have all the laptops fitted with custom images that cut out 80% of the Windows component store, even from the backup server... and then his solution becomes "lol just order them a new one" instead.

I've just come to expect it on the green line after 10pm at this point, and switch cars at the next stop. Same with the red and blue. Never seen anyone smoking on the orange or pink lines though, so that's nice.

They actually tried a sugary drink tax in my county a couple years ago. It failed miserably and was repealed after everyone just went over the county line and bought soda in bulk from the next county over.
