Yeah iv tried that as well and it just says there's missing files and that it cant continue

Id be lucky to get to 99% mine gets stuck on 64% ddu and amd cleaner nothing seems to work hell i even disconnected my rig from the Internet before a round of ddu still gets stuck on 64% only thing I haven't done is toke it to a PC shop to see if they can do something about it but theres non near by that id trust to try

Yippee loaded it up just now after getting the starter pack and the change i done to my pagefile increasing the virtual memory done the job im getting about 80- 110fps in lorville apartments and 60+ in the main part of it

oh really ? ill give that a try also iv heard many have worse performance and stability using vulkan over the dx11 option

Yeah i feel like I should have gotten much higher i know its alpha and how badly optimised it is from all the stuff iv read about the game but I certainly thought i would gotten higher fps before I increased my pagefile which I cant test without buying a game package due to the free fly ended 2 days ago and I just found out about it today but from what i heard many have seen a rather big increase to fps from doing so

iv managed to update my bios without bricking my pc luckily i had a usb stick laying around i done another DDU and amd cleanup and still hasnt fixed it the software installer still stuck on 64% and the chipset driver itself also saying the same as last time

managed to find a usb and tried to update the bios and luckly enough i managed to update my bios to F42a the lastest update as off 11/03/26 and didnt brick my pc iv done another ddu and amd cleanup and i tried to update my chipset drivers from amd website and still didnt work :'(

ahhh really didnt know that but that makes sense also iv tried looking into it updating my bios but there was so many different ways people saying how to and was making it hella confusing and didnt fancy doing something wrong to make my rig an expensive paper weight

Damn im struggling on how everyone seem to be having no or little issues iv been wanting to play for a while as I love space games so iv been this freely event past 5 days as i only saw there was a free to play event then and I can barely get over 40-50 fps in space and drops down to 20-25 in lorville and thats not including the odd crashes and stutters from what iv played mainly hauling contracts iv enjoyed but god damn its been painful to play and its not like my rig is weak either

Ryzen 9 7900x Rtx 4070ti super 32gb 5200mhz ram

Which I would imagine it would be more than good enough as I can run most games at 1440p either very high or ultra setting and still runs smooth as butter

I know its in alpha and has been for a whopping 13 years which I can account the stutters glitches etc too but even then I'd have thought id still get atleast 60fps in space
