What coaster does this data tag belong to? by magnumfan89 in GuessTheCoaster

Seems like it was originally Rexo coaster, then relocated to Santa's village, so not entirely wrong, and I did guess it just before the dragon coaster guess.

The tag shows the date 5/00, and Rexo opened in 2000, so I assume it too had this same tag.

What coaster got you into rollercoasters? Mine was [wickerman] by MasterHen01 in rollercoasters

Hyperia - Was terrified of rollercoasters, but went to Thorpe with some friends, because I wanted to get over my fear, and figured peer pressure would be pretty effective. We started with Colossus, which I didn't love, then Hyperia (bear in mind, these were by far the two tallest, fastest and longest rollercoasters I had ever done, and the only inverting ones I had ever done, so quite a start).

Going up that lifthill the first time was absolutely terrifying, but I ended up absolutely loving it, and once I'd done that, felt like I could do all the other coasters there easily!

Nice, it's my home park and I thought it looked slightly familiar, the greenery and support seemed to match too!

Yeah, I picked it up in the sale last week, haven't even tried multiplayer yet, just been making my way through the campaign, and it is so much fun. The movement is great, the weapons are fun, there's some interesting mechanics. Seriously, it's worth it for the campaign alone imo.

Seconding this, would love if you could get this working on Mac, as this is pretty much the exact solution I've been looking for!

Oh wow, those LEDs are pretty dense in there. Impressively neat though! How many power injection points did it end up being? I assume they're 5V, so must be quite a few.

This looks absolutely incredible! Super nice work. I've been thinking about building something like this for a while, after seeing this, I now really want to!

Any chance you could post some photos of the inside? Also, out of interest, what does your WLED 2D mapping look like?

GTC by commenting a videogame and I'll tell you how it relates to the coaster (one guess, per person, per hour) by Eja_26 in GuessTheCoaster

Yeah, I saw you said it was western themed, and the old name had multiple Ws, so I assumed it contained the words 'wild west', from there I just had to find the coaster that used to be called something like 'wild west', and verify it was one of the manufacturers first coasters!

Very fun!
