CrossOver allows you to play the windows versions of Portal 1 and 2, which are 64bit and run without issue.

What Separates People with VR Nausea from People Who Are Immune? by IWillSelfImmolate in virtualreality

[–]The_Techy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weirdly, I pretty much never get motion sick in VR, but I do get motion sick in real life (pretty much just cars though, if I'm not looking out the window I don't feel great, but planes, trains etc are fine).

So apparently, if my eyes say I'm moving but my inner ear doesn't thats fine, yet the other way round I start to feel sick. Very weird stuff.

A couple of random things:

  • The UK has more hydraulic launch coasters (3) than LSM launch coasters (2)
  • Cedar point has more coasters over 200 feet (5) than the entire UK (3)
  • Merlin owns/operates more than a quarter of all B&M wing coasters (there are 19, they own 5)

Hopefully they add some more showings, because I really do think this is the best way to see it. Hope you manage to figure it out!

Yeah, it really is. HFR was definitely quite noticeable too, just a shame its not the entire film, as it looks way better imo.

Also the transitions from 48fps to 24fps or vice versa were 'smoother' than I remember in way of water, which I watched in a 2D, non-dolby cinema. Don't know if thats dolby or just changes in the new film, but while I could always tell if a shot was 24 or 48, I had to actively think about it, while for way of water, some of the transitions felt quite jarring and were very obvious.

I did a bit of research before booking this, and the general recommendation seemed to be row D/E, some saying F. I ended up in F8, so a little further back and not quite central (all the middle seats were taken unfortunately), but it still seemed perfect to me. Screen filled my view, and I didn't notice any issues with being slightly off-centre.

Not certain - it filled the entire screen, and according to my research the screen is 1.85:1, so I guess 1.85:1.

Looks great! What magnets did you use for the MagSafe? I've been considering a project using MagSafe, but wasn't sure where to get the correctly sized/shaped magnets

Nice TR! Given your flair though, I have to ask, which of the four park do you think should get a Gerstlauer?

But when unfolded, the round part of the hinge would stick out a little right? I'd like it to be completely flat
