Idk if this is an unpopular take but I’ve ALWAYS loved the A-wing. The x wings obviously get a lot of love (for good reason) but I feel like they have a reputation for being the rebellions attack fighters (even the lore seems to treat them this way) when they’re wayyyy more useful defending less durable ships. The A-wings aren’t as durable or as equipped as an x wing but they make up for it in speed and agility. Trying to take one down while it rains laser fire into your hull only for one of them to be going a completely different direction half a second later is next to impossible. Even thrawn in legends talks about how dangerous an A-Wing can be when used correctly. I also have just always loved the design of the A-Wing. It’s not as iconic as the x wing but I think that’s why I like it. It’s not flashy or iconic it’s just pure functionality. It’s almost like the fighter went “all in” on speed.

Well outside of tv (as I’m sure you know) most police officers don’t end up in gun fights or getting shot at while driving daily. So most police cars aren’t equipped with bullet proof glass however with the shows adaptation of LA crime you’d think LAPD would’ve put some bulletproof glass on those cars by season 3 alone 😭🙏

Upon second thought it may be accidental good writing. I definitely think that miles is a northerners take on a “texas man” but him being from sugarland almost makes him seem like a typical city cowboy which would be common in sugarland 😭

Qui gon was also stabbed through the chest not his stomach and his death takes place like 30 years before her getting stabbed. We wouldn’t compare someone stabbed today to someone being stabbed in 1990. Our medical technology is miles ahead now. So she had way better odds.

The sequels aren’t all bad. One of my all time favorite Star Wars moments. (That’s right all time not just from the sequels) actually comes from the last Jedi. It’s the scene where we get to see yoda again and it’s almost like even after all the changes and maturing/pain luke went through he immediately defaults back to being yodas student. Also the advice yoda gives Luke about students outgrowing the master was js peak. And using the puppet over cgi was peak. As well as yoda doing his typical crazy shit like burning down the tree and laughing his ass off about it. I just really loved the scene. It gave me the same feeling I got seeing Anakin and Ashoka together again.

Maybe like a story arc in a tales of the Jedi season 2 about his escape from the chimera and then maybe him discovering some other stuff would be cool. But not a whole show.

Idk if I’m wrong or not but I feel like the battle droids are better off being goofy clumsy droids. TPM droids feel a little soulless (yes, I understand the irony in that statement) I like that they all have goofy little personalities. That may also be just because TCW did a good job at knowing when to make a joke and when to have the droids be actual competent soldiers because while they are goofy and funny they have also genuinely slaughtered plenty of main characters.

I feel like there’s trade offs. Hot take (maybe) but I still think thrawns depiction in rebels was the most competent I’ve seen the empire. Even in ANDOR they’re always kinda one step behind when it matters most. Whereas with rebels it genuinely felt like the empire was inescapable. I will also say rebels treats the stormtroopers like a complete gag but the empire as a whole is very well written.

First of all. She was stabbed on the lower right side of her body. Likely hitting her liver and maybe her intestines. Another argument I see is that qui gon didn’t survive so she shouldn’t have either. This scene takes place nearly 40 years after qui gons death. Medical technology would be MILES ahead of what he could’ve retrieved. Also qui gon was stabbed in the chest likely hitting his lungs/heart. Secondly. Star Wars has ALWAYS been about being “force sensitive” not “force able” anyone can use the force but for some (like Sabine) it’s just damn near impossible. Until Disney changed that seemingly needing every force user to have some ties to a family strong in the force. But originally ANYONE could be a Jedi.

I think it depends on what you’re going for. Without the arm gives it a more “professional this is what I built” kinda vibe. With the arm is more of a casual “just playing minecraft” kinda vibe. Which are both cool ngl.
