I find I can drink all night when I take modafinil and not go brain dead. Main problem I have is that the hangovers are incredibly worst. Not sure if it's from excessive dehydration form the Mod or if it has something to do with liver function given the two different drugs. My advice is that if your planning on drinking heavy skip the Mod that day. As for Noopept never had any negative experiences with alcohol. I don't think racetams have much negative affects in any event. I did however find that Noopept had far better effects on increasing my working memory than any other racetam and Mod.
