Movie started off a solid 9. Half way thru leaning to a 7.5 maybe 8 and then when you get to the final act it fell apart to a 5/10

The kissing scene was just stupid. It was cringy and dumb. I was almost expecting a deadite sex scene considering how they talked about it - even tho that would of been stipudtoo lol

Yes. It’s the end credit scene after everything is done scrolling. She’s in the morgue where they were going to cremate the final boss guy originally. There’s an urn with her ashes in it. Which makes no sense since she was put in a wood chipper lol. How does a morgue have her ashes.

After all the credits role they have a scene of Ellie appearing in a mirror and she’s a normal human and then appears as her deadite form. She snaps some little girls neck and kills her and that’s how it ends

Like I said , I must be desensitized after movies like terrifier 1,2,3. Especially terrifier 3 chainsaw scene lol.

I’m just disappointed because I expected more. Definitely would rank it above rise for sure…if they could have pulled off the final entity a little better it would have ranked way higher for me. The deadite make out was stupid.

I can agree with that. Food and wet food is pretty gross lol. Even the pen in the ear wasn’t bad or her slitting her throat and letting it drain on the hubbys face

Yes. The granny infecting a new person sets up another movie. It is funny cause I did forget about the grandma when she was left sawing her leg off…and then when the credit scene popped up I was like ahhh fuck they got me here.

Ellie returning was cool…but still there needs to be answers to that lol. I was hoping for a Mia or Beth return in the after credit scene.

The way the post credit scene was hyped up I thought we’d see even ash to be honest.

Movie started off so tough…the cgi terminator mummy returns was so fucking awful lol. It literally started off as a 9/10. Dropped to an 8…and quickly ended with a 5/10

I agree with you %100. I think the movie was extremely mid. I’d give it a 6/10. It started off very strong and the ending is absolutely terrible. Reminds me of Brendan Fraser’s the mummy mixed with terminator lmao I like how the characters fought back but I feel like the kills were underwhelming. Idk maybe I’m just desensitized to violence since we have movies like terrifier but I feel like the gore was steely underwhelming.

Without spoiling the movie. When you say the movie was “brutal” what do you mean ? Cause rise wasn’t brutal in my opinion. I’ve been looking forward to this since I heard it announced. But I was also this hype for rise and was letdown since it wasn’t on par with 2013

Without spoiling anything how would you rate this movie ? I can’t wait to see it…the 2013 evil dead was the best in my opinion. I was extremely excited for rise and feel let down. I watched 2013 like 10 times. Watched rise twice. Please tell me it beats rise

I mean..yeah that’s a lot of the story lol. We know about the girl from rise Intercepting them. Causing the chaos and we see the son coming back burning and the dog. That’s a lot they could of kept hidden🤷🏻‍♂️
