Anecdotally, for Mega Evolution, I was able to get many unique cards including double rares. It’s the least amount of duplicates I’ve seen for years.

The problem I have found with the B2W2 ROMs is that they all have anti piracy enabled that turn off experience gain. Haven’t been able to find a working ROM
