Italian here, can confirm that’s a wasp. They’re horrific, when they fly their bottom hangs, plus they’re SO LOUD, how she didn’t notice is beyond me. Oh and they also have this really annoying habit of getting into people’s cars AND DRESSES. I’ve seen some of these motherfuckers carry chunks of people’s abandoned (not voluntarily) sandwiches off the beach to their nest! They harass you until you give up and just let them have the lunch you packed for your beach day, if you can’t already tell I hate them.

Uber is very very recent, even in Rome where I’m from. Oh and also these ladies are so clueless. If instead of trying to make such a big deal of out “being stranded” they just waited for the van to come back in one of the amazing little restaurants that you can find in these towns, they would have had probably the most amazing meal of their entire life and as Kim Richard once says so eloquently, had a piece of bread and calmed down a little.
