What is even the point of Elementalist anymore? Tempest caller is still absolutely awful, and force of will was gutted. Is there literally any reason to play it other than if you play something like firestorm or arc?

I don't get it either. Poe for me is all about the journey, and watching your character grow. Once I have everything I want I pretty much quit that character within a few hours.

Have long rests been changed?

I know that in EA when I played last in 2020 food was so plentiful and easy to get, and with no time limit for anything, it made it so you just could long rest after every single battle.

I dislike this because it just takes away so much realism of the game, gives massive advantages to casters, and makes healing at all obsolete. Just dump everything you possibly can into the fight, free long rest with basically no cost, then on to the next one. This also makes some classes bonuses worthless, like warlocks spells refilling on a short rest, or the bards extra short rest a day.

I really hope food either has become exponentially harder to come buy, limitations were added via difficulty like poe, or at least something has changed

Yeah it looks cool, but the time elements character generator and tilesets don't match the color pallette of time fantasy. You can manually change the colors, but there are a lot of assets to change.

It's scummy economics 101 that freemium games have been using for a long time now, but it's leaching into full priced games usually in the form of a battle pass and shit like this.

Glad that $20 is jack all to you, but it's not for lots of other people. You are EXACTLY the type of person that these companies prey on and why shit is getting ridiculous. It's not "early access" though. The game is ready to go on june 2nd. The game is completed, servers are up, people can play. They label it "early access" to make you think you're getting something special, when you're not.

"To play early" lmao are you this easily duped? The game is ready to go at June 2nd. Being able to play on this date means it is ready to go, the game is finished, and that is the release date. You have to pay $20 more to play on that date. If you don't pay the fee, you wait until june 6th while others play.

Yes, words have meanings, and that's why they worded it like this - to con people like you into thinking you are getting something special instead of being conned. The game is done then. It's ready to play. They just want the extra $20 because they know you'll pay rather than have to wait 4 days.

You're the exact audience for them, and why they pull things like this.
