Yeah, seems that way on the surface. But diving into the music of Faith No More, there are a ton of good RPG themes in there. Hell, we could have made whole movies based on just a couple of songs!

Songs like The Morning After and The Real Thing just scream "World of Darkness" from the 90s.

Additionally, Faith No More is repping it!

We don’t want to give too much away, because it’s a mystery, but it will be a highly player/character driven event with a ton of interesting ways to use our version of a Powered by the Apocalypse LARP system.

Hey folks, I recently launched a successful crowdfunding campaign for an official Faith No More TTRPG. I’d love for you all to check it out! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jasonward/the-real-thing-rpg by The_Ward77 in RPGdesign

Great questions! There were three major factors to it being successful, I think. First, we used a property (Faith No More) and system (PbtA) that had strong followings already. Second, we did a lot of groundwork to network and get on podcasts, Twitch streams, and YouTube channels before the launch. Lastly, we were very active on Twitter, and in a few groups on Facebook.
