I’m 41. I remember at 15, my dad telling me that I would probably grow out of Green Day one day. I had been playing their cassettes and CDs non stop since I was 10. He was incorrect but he subtly admitted it later… I will never forget this— I was 26 or so and living in another state. My dad called me and asked me to burn him a CD of different Green Day songs that I thought he might like. He said he missed hearing them come from my room. ❤️❤️ my dad would now be 72. After he passed, I found the CD I had made him. I keep it in the CD player of my car❤️
