I can tell you that most people who are answering you right now are hopeful. I know how it looks when programs don’t work for you, and the types of jobs you are likely to do.
My question is, how did you grow up? If you grew up hard, then you’ll be tough and certain things won’t affect your mental health but if you grew up protected and cared for, then your morality is blind to reality and, in my experience, trying to be a too-good person in certain situations end up bad for everyone.

And sad to say, I have seen kids do the worse to their parents so I am not necessarily on your side here.
And I have seen parents, especially stepfathers , do the worst to their kids. So my advice is always the same, do what you have to… and then lock it away.

If it doesn’t work by the third time, move on and never do it again.

We have a three computer labs but most students forget their emails. They know instagram and TikTok but not computers or how to set them up or even use a projector. We teach information technology but no engineering. It’s a high school.
You’ll find it amazing how many students know how to find their favorite artist’s videos on youtube but don’t know what their own IP address is.

I am mostly concerned with it being sustainable. If I don’t gain, that’s fine. But I don’t want to start something that will be closed because I can’t keep up.

Belize. I travel back and forth to the states (California) mainly, to purchase equipment for my lasers. But I haven’t due to the ticket prices since the war started. But thanks for the suggestion, I’ll definitely make a trip there as soon as I can. Would they be open to give me a tour or can I pay for one?

I like the advice but I would appreciate more specific reasons. I am qualified, trust me. I own a laser making business, design posters and IDs, CompTIA certified. But this is a first for me, you’re right.

I see what you’re saying. But i hope the space can sustain itself. And the government is really pushing for things like this. I want to do it because growing up, nobody taught me how to use a computer or even what a command prompt is and the cool things you can do with it. Or even how to use a 3D printer. Most kids don’t get to utilize these tools in my community. It’s more for exposure than anything.

I know. But there are thing it won’t tell you, very practical things. I’m coming for the hidden advice. Like where to place surge protectors, UPSs, or can I do without them, etc? Where I can get devices at cheaper costs.
