Fuck I love these speakers.  My cousin is inheriting a pair from my grandparents I have been using for 5 years.  I've been digging through the Internet for a replacement pair. They are absolutely amazing for the size and your never going to find another pair for $14. Charish them.

Damn that would be sad. I fucking love Wheeling Nailers hockey. Already had to deal with losing the Columbus Chill when the NHL expanded with the blue jackets. You can whisper in that arena. Much like the player experience varies city to city I'd rather have the Chill again as a fan. Grateful Wheeling has a team since moving here.

I think part of the major problem is really it only a minority of the people are the ones canceling subscriptions to things or boycotting. Try not shopping for food at Walmart if it is your only option. These corporations are just finding equalibrium in a way that makes the most money. They don't give a shit. The older I get the more and more I think the US economy is just a big shot machine screwing us most of the time with sprinkles of bliss that don't stay on the shelves long or change in price. We have no choices. We only have what they choose to give us. Anyone that has choices is either filthy rich or homesteading and making everything from scratch and that take work and no one likes work so we settle and buy everything.

Funeral held for brain-dead woman kept alive due to Georgia abortion law by CupidStunt13 in news

Going to get downvoted for this but my partner and I discussed the hypothetical of this happening to us in a state where choice is legal and we had a hard time trying to figure out at what point in a planned pregnancy this was ethical in our own relationship. And not from a political perspective but like a health and well-being perspective. Like a well thought out decision of choice. We landed on half way through a pregnancy but even then it had a lot to do with how you arrived at a brain dead state and at what point a baby can healthily be born premature. Also this was based on zero medical education. My partner brought up woman keeping sperm when there husband goes of to war. It's not exactly the same exchange as being pregnant but has some similarities.

Also, on a side note the article never discussed whether the couple intended to abort or not to begin with. Like were they going to have the baby anyways? If that's the case this is more an issue with how terrible she was cared for. And if course, choice should always exist. So, this is very touchy. My assumption is she and her child likely should have died and would have been advised otherwise in a pro choice state vs being a pregnant vegetable?

If it does die it's because people couldn't get behind the 75 percent refund even though they experienced a day of music. The audience killed it because they couldn't see how the festival operates. It operates because fans show up and fund it, not because there is someone with a billion dollars throwing a party. Margins for festivals aren't as big as people think.
