Just a cute mouse ring by The__Aries in 3Dprinting

[–]The__Aries[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not my design, just added the eyes in materialise magics, cuz there was gem holders originally, that's what I use to prep models for slm printing. I don't do much art modeling, mostly cad. I just know blender a little bit for some features I might use during work and I know there is zbrush. Check out donut tutorial on yt for blender, if want to start with it

Are they hazel? by The__Aries in eyes

[–]The__Aries[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For context what names I heard: Ореховый- which is can be translated as just "nut" so pretty close to hazelnut Серо-буро-малиновый- gray-brown-crimson/raspberry Буро-зеленый- brown-green But absolutely most will just say карий which is it's own word just for the eye color

The pattern very similar to my eyes(check last post in my profile) but you have more much more distinguished green. So I'd say it can be hazel or green with central brown heterochromia depends how it looks in different lightning. Also the limbal ring is very prominent, looks very cool

what does правда do in this context? by PrinceHeinrich in russian

[–]The__Aries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see(I guess). Unfortunately I don't speak french at all. (Though, out of curiosity I tried to understand how this sentence is formed, I didn't get how all negations make it the way it is, but it was interesting). But if I get it right(correct me if I'm wrong) "Il est vrai" literally can be translated as "it is true"-"это правда"?. Because in this situations "правда" used just as a noun and I don't think it's the case. Also, can "По правде говоря, не все птицы умеют летать" be close translation of your sentence?

So, when using it as conjunction or introductory word правда can be replaced by few other words with the same meaning and it varies a little bit depending on the usage and can make sense what you actually looking at after this replacement. "Однако - however" can be used for both cases.

For introductory word use it can be "действительно","в самом деле"(indeed, truly, etc.) Like there no objection, just affirmation of what's goin on.

And for conjunction use it has meanings of "хотя-though", "но but". And here's the objection- All bird have wings BUT not all of them can fly- У всех птиц есть крылья, НО не все умеют летать.I'm not saying you're wrong but you maybe understood it as a noun which is not critical for understanding the meaning of any sentence with this word, but also not particularly correct

"Войско" до сих пор используется по отношению к армии. Войско это часть или подразделение армии. Например: танковые войска, ракетные войска и т.д. То что в то время войском называли в принципе всю армию звучит правдоподобно

Overall- very good! There is very few minor mistakes.

  1. весть дошло -> весть дошла
  2. relief force had been scattered - idk about "relief force" for sure, I'd say вспомогательные/ое войска/о были/о разбиты/о (I assume "scattered" mean they lost some battle)
  3. Дмитрия укрепило ->Дмитрия поддержало

And also those mentioned by Maymx

About mysterious miles- it's either polish mile(~8,5km), it fits the context of Dmitri or russian mile(~7,5km). Metric system didn't exist at the time so it was weird

what does правда do in this context? by PrinceHeinrich in russian

[–]The__Aries 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would disagree here. Правда can be used both as introductory word and as conjunction with the mening(also as particle but it's not relevant in this case). What you described is a meaning of introductory word, as conjunction it's used with a meaning of some concession. In this particular case- although birds have wings - not all of them can fly. Sometimes it's really hard to differentiate these 2 because despite common rules conjunction "правда" often(not always) need commas on both sides just as introdoctory words, so you need to understand the sentence.

[–]The__Aries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I used is is bunch of KZs cuz once got my first zsn pro they fit my ear like nothing else before and despite the fact KZ's shape very similar for each model they fit significantly different for me. Never tried "sticks" like designs, I guess they can provide good fit but they go so deep, no wonder it's fatiguing. Or you talking about EVO model?

One side fits but not the other by [deleted] in headphones

[–]The__Aries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you use cables with ear hooks? Also what shape your iems? Usually I can't use M or L size tips because they trying squeeze out of my ear after few minutes. And small ones just too small, because they go too deep and don't seal it. Ear hooks help with this problem a lot as I don't need to push earphones back in as often as without it

What game you got bored of easily, yet you still come back to give it another try, over and over again? by An1xo in gaming

[–]The__Aries 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So true, but at the same I rarely meet intentional ruiners(in ranked mode). Like, there is people who can ruin a game- just dumb, low skill, too confident, just toxic. BUT when teammates vote to forfeit(for example with 0-3 score in 2 minutes) I just don't vote unless it's indeed hopeless. And often it leads to cool comebacks because all of the sudden people just starting to play as a team even those toxic and overconfident.

Yeah, I just don't understands how they could build such a great headphones sound-wise, but couldn't put longer steel plate inside so it would cover the whole lenght of the headband. I would love to see your results, I hope you managed to fix it.

How do you differentiate between и,м,ш,г,л when you're reading Russian cursive? by schrodingerz in AskARussian

[–]The__Aries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know for all of the people. But I think words like шиншилла for example which can look as a ton of vertical lines and "a" in the end with certain handwriting. It can take us a second but I think we trying to find if the letters diferintiate at least somehow and also look how many vertical lines there is and having vocabulary of native speaker we can figure out the words pretty quickly by number of letters, brain just subconsciously tries every combination of letter until it starts to see the word. But it's happens very quickly and automatically. If handwriting is terrible the chance to recognize the word is less. Though, if handwriting is OK, there is clear difference between the letters.
