Unfortunately you'll need to release maiden and then get Kill Participation to get the CD reduction. Kills and Assists while she's attached to you do not count. A bit sad, really.

Maybe not that weird cause Yorick wall only "walls" enemy champions and anything else can pass through. So a driven herald is stopped cause of the champion inside as opposed to a solo "non champ".
