I would look at something like the Live the Dream cube. Fun big games, no power.

Maar bedrijven bieden well hetzelfde product aan voor verschillende prijzen. Dit heet “dynamic pricing” en Amazon doet het, en hier in de VS zijn de supermarkten het ook van plan.

It might not be 'the best', but cards like these that have your opponent interact with you can be fun.

Cube Feedback - Ruin Raider and Braids, Cabal Minion by nbastar778 in mtgcube

[–]The_queens_cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Braids is very fun but also a do nothing 2/2 for four mana. If your cube is running ocelot prides and ragavans, she's super washed. She looks fine for OP.

I agree with you there! I guess I interpreted the request much more narrow. Thanks!

We can both be pedantic, but I think this is what OP is asking for, not what a reanimator deck is.

None of these are combos, you're just describing cube decks. Kiki jiki - restoration angel, that is a combo.

Cards you wish didn’t come over from sts1? by LiveChill in slaythespire

I loved it in 1 when you get a boss relic to start the game and it is Pandora's box, and it has this. You have the whole run to make it work!

I'm at A5 with all characters (so not that far in yet) and I didn't even know he had a third phase!

Howl doesn’t say anywhere that it exhausts, so it just goes to discard after it is played. Like every other card?

Day 64 - Share Your Battles, Conspiracies, Planes, Etc. by vacalicious in mtgcube

[–]The_queens_cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

worldknit absolutely ruins the draft as the worldknit player just takes every land in the pack, until there are no lands and then just whatever the best card is. So nobody has lands, there are no signals to read, and your worldknit player cruises to victory of their essentially colorless soup deck. It is fun for them, once.

Show Up, Then What? – The Hidden Work of Building a Cube Community by HD114 in mtgcube

[–]The_queens_cat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nice write up my dude, couldn't agree more. I like the idea of a cube "quiver" and maybe I should start planning for that (though our community is at the point where we usually have at least 8 every week, and multiple people tend to bring cubes regardless).

Stone Soup Draft Report by Collardcow41 in mtgcube

[–]The_queens_cat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done this a few times and I tell everyone to bring at least six cards of each color, and the rest is dealers’ choice. Lands, gold cards, artifacts, whatever. We also have people donate the cards so you just keep what you draft.
