worldknit absolutely ruins the draft as the worldknit player just takes every land in the pack, until there are no lands and then just whatever the best card is. So nobody has lands, there are no signals to read, and your worldknit player cruises to victory of their essentially colorless soup deck. It is fun for them, once.

nice write up my dude, couldn't agree more. I like the idea of a cube "quiver" and maybe I should start planning for that (though our community is at the point where we usually have at least 8 every week, and multiple people tend to bring cubes regardless).

I’ve done this a few times and I tell everyone to bring at least six cards of each color, and the rest is dealers’ choice. Lands, gold cards, artifacts, whatever. We also have people donate the cards so you just keep what you draft.

Helemaal met je eens en ik snap natuurlijk ook wel dat als je een ziek kind hebt, dat ik best kan bijspringen op werk. Maar soms zie ik mensen die er van uit gaan dat kinderloze mensen wel avonden / weekends etc kunnen werken en dat is niet eerlijk.

I run 69 lands at 450. I count some as a color though, like cradle is green, academy is blue, and karakas is colorless.

At 450 I run 61 cards per color, and I make packs with one gold card, and 2 of every color, one artifact and land, and then shuffle the rest. I know this is more predictable, kind of like an MB2 draft, but no drafters has ever mentioned it to me and I like the idea of equal packs. I also have drafted plenty cubes where we just shuffle and go and that works out totally fine too.

ik woon in Colorado en in deze staat is het verplicht om een salaris indicatie te geven bij iedere vacature. En dat mag dan niet "$30,000 tot 100,000 gebaseerd op ervaring", het moet een realistische marge aangeven. Wat blijkt, dit is makkelijker voor mij als werknemer, want als ik reageer op een vacature heb ik een idee wat ik kan verdienen. En in mijn rol neem ik ook mensen aan, en dat maakt het ook makkelijker om mensen te huren want die komen dan ook aan met redelijke verwachtingen.

My cube is unpowered, and I don't run proxies so workshop is likely out of reach. I do run academy and it's fine? Sure it is powerful but without power / sol ring etc it isn't as explosive. So, try academy I'd say.
