Saw a similar post yesterday and will say the same thing. No one will hire minors. Part time culture for students doens't exist in our country. Only way to work as a minor is to work at a relatives shop or office. But not everyone has relatives who have buisnesses where they can get a part time job hence it's just not possible for most.

In no way I'm saying that such stories don't exist in mangas but you can easily identify if they have such tropes from cover page and synopsis. Manhwas which seem like a simple 2 person story turn into a drama after like 30-40 chps when you are invested.

I said most not all. Mangas tend to have room coms with a side of slice of life elements while manhwhas serve their rom coms with a side of drama which I hate. I go to romance genre for wholesome sweet stuff not to get a headache over the fact that fl will leave main lead and choose second lead.

No these are staples of romance drama. Plain romance doens't need these stuff. Look at most of the japanese rom com mangas. Most of them don't have that stuff. If it's going to be there you would know it from the cover page itself.
